Steve Bullman Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 Like most people i have a members first post set so it has to be approved. Most of the time the ones that aren’t approved are spam but occasional posts aren’t approved for another reason. It would be really useful if there was a built in option for showing the member the reason why their list wasn’t approved which they would receive as a notification or private message itlo 1
opentype Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 Are those replies or new content (like topics, database records)? For the latter, you can just reply and the member will see it.
Steve Bullman Posted July 26, 2022 Author Posted July 26, 2022 Ah I hadn’t considered that. That will work in most of the situations i think. Thank you
Matt Finger Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 Hi Steve! Don't worry, coincidentally Approval Queue UI updates are currently in the works and hopefully will be included in one of the next 4.7 releases! Among other enhancements, exposing the reason content is held for approval is on the list so stay tuned. Thanks! Jim M, Emediate, Steve Bullman and 3 others 5 1
MeanGene Posted August 1, 2022 Posted August 1, 2022 HI Matt, any update on enhancement to expose the reason for Approvals being needed? I have a situation where it seems "at random" posts require approval. I have not been able to pin down why certain users are targeted more than others. Thanks!
