Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted February 22, 20223 yr Hi, In IPS 3 there was an option to remove index.html from the end of URL. I can't see that option in IPS 4 anymore. Is it still possible, e.g. using htaceess? Now index page of Pages displays as follows: http://domain.com/index/ Edited February 22, 20223 yr by PatrickRQ
February 22, 20223 yr Author Solution I figured out, need to set Pages as default app + set default page (index) per folder.
February 22, 20223 yr Community Expert Glad to hear you found the solution. Yes, the solution now would be to put the software in your root and then place Pages as the default application and set your page you want as your homepage as the default for that folder. Once that is done, then the page will show up up at the root (or base url for your installation).
