Added "Sticky" code to template to keep topic info displayed at all times now members are complaining that it covers too much of the page (especially on smaller tablet screens). Is there a way to reduce the total height of the area (see pic) using CSS?

There is not a lot of white space to remove. You could either make all the fonts smaller or remove data. 

To be honest though I would just not sticky that area.
