How do I change the Member area color

I'm changing the colors around on my theme and can't figure out how to change the "authors area". It's the whitish area on the attached screenshot.

Also, when I try to use the "edit html and css" I get some squeezed in box and can't select anything. (second screenshot)

Really, no one knows how to change the color of the author/member area on a post?

Hello,

There are a few solutions for your author column question in your other topic.

The code editor is designed to occupy the full height of your window (minus any other elements such as your header and footer) - however since you have an ad in your admin panel (which isn't standard), the editor doesn't have much room to expand.

Removing the ad will fix your editor issue.
