Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Carbo Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 I'm no techie, that's for sure. And this latest blunder confirms this. But I hosed my board trying to upgrade from 4.4.3 to 4.4.4 I originally contacted Invision support but they don't assist with upgrades, so I was left to my own devices. Well, something(s) went wrong and now my board is inaccessible. Can someone help get my board back online? Thank you.
bfarber Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 Can you confirm the ticket number for me so I can take a look? While it is true that we don't generally perform upgrades for clients in most cases, if you run into trouble we are absolutely there to help. It's possible that the situation may have been misunderstood and I'd like to ensure we get you all taken care of.
Carbo Posted June 13, 2019 Author Posted June 13, 2019 Thank you for the reply. And let me just say I accept that the bungled upgrade was my doing. I just need help undoing my handy work. Ticket number is 1037915
Mark H Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 I've added a followup reply to that ticket, since I'm uncertain if you're still having issues. I did just visit your site and it appears everything is ok, but wanted to be sure.
Carbo Posted June 14, 2019 Author Posted June 14, 2019 Mark, I'm not seeing what you're seeing when I go to my site. I replied to my support ticket with the latest.
Marc Posted June 14, 2019 Posted June 14, 2019 Hello, I have further reviewed the ticket for you there, and got your issues resolved so that your site is back online for you.
Carbo Posted June 14, 2019 Author Posted June 14, 2019 Forums are back up and working perfectly. A big thank you to the support staff, in particular Marc Stridgen!
