Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
liviu2004 Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 What exactly this means? I've bought IP Board from 2008. Is the license time limited?
Kjell Iver Johansen Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Same here as well. They way they announce stuff like this is very annoying when the error actually are on their side.
Day_ Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Just logged on to my site and saw this, re entered my licence key and got this error The license key supplied is not valid. Please check the provided key and try again or contact technical support for more assistance. Thought I had my licence revoked for moaning too much recently, so I'm glad I'm not the only one 😅
Duken Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 I have the same error. Looks like ipb license check server is down?

Skylive Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Same problem, and when I try to refresh it he tells me that the license server did not respond

Ipb forum loads slow and my own site does the same ( www.duken.nl ) hosted in Germany. So this is not a very good thing. Of license server is down, forums are extremely slow? 😞

BankFodder Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 I can understand that any server can develop problems – but what I find pretty poor is that there is not even a status page – even if it is kept on some alternative server or in a Twitter feed.
aia Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Please support this suggestion if you've also encountered a slowdown during this problem with licence keys.
BankFodder Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 The speed of my website is now back to normal – but the licence not valid warnings are still present.
thomasdouscha Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 so as mine My screen : But my license is valid. And refresh license is not a solution. They have patch i think for it. But i cannot install it because of license invalid. This is tipically situation of ipb. Later for every update you will have some issues.
BankFodder Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Yes - it may be fixed now. Nice to have some input and information from the Invision team about this. Thanks Guys.

aia Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 If you're still getting the error and Refreshing of Licence Data does not helps, then try to enter your key again. Click this button: Enter the same key you're already activated for this installation. It worked for me, hope this helps.

Kjell Iver Johansen Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 They answered on facebook.. Quote Hi. Please email support@invisionpower.com and we will get that fixed for you. It is OK on my site now - but agree. Would have been better to reply on here..
EmpireKicking Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 I had the same here also, But Once IPB services are back online the error messages just walk into the shop to buy donuts and then left.
