Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Gabriel Torres Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 Hi all, People recommended me to switch from memcached to redis. However, I have no clue on what to put in the redis.conf file I must create. Any pointers? Many thanks!
Silnei L Andrade Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 Who does these services of configuration and maintenance of servers for us is a company called Sierti. I'm able to run 4.3 seconds after version 4.4. Fale com o Eltern. É uma dor de cabeça a menos e é barato. https://www.sierti.com.br
ASTRAPI Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 One of the most important things is the size that you like to give to Redis but other than that there are some optimizations depended on the server that can boost performance... Try to check at Google to get an idea about it...
Gabriel Torres Posted March 21, 2019 Author Posted March 21, 2019 @ASTRAPIÂ All I need right now is a sample file as a starting point... ;)
ASTRAPI Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 You can use the default Redis config file and even if you don't adjust anything it should work for you 🙂
Steph40 Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 @Gabriel Torres Like @Astrapi said the default should work out of the box but just in case, I just installed and here is my default conf before I fiddle with it, if I fiddle with it. Using centos 7, nginx and php7.3.3 BTW usually Redis server listens on 127.0.0.1 and TCP port 6379 default redis.conf located in /etc redis.conf
