Misty Sharpe Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 I am setting up our non-profit's new forum and am having difficulty getting the name of the forum to show up in the header when I upload our logo. If I don't upload the logo, the name shows up just fine but I want to have both in the header. I have even shortened the site name and resized the logo to no avail. What am I doing wrong?
Jim M Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Unfortunately, via our default settings, you cannot have your community's name and a logo in the header. You can only have one, the name in text or a logo. This could be done via some theme changes or a potentially a plugin. Although, I am not aware of a plugin which performs this currently that is in our Marketplace.
Meddysong Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 You're not doing anything wrong. The suite is supposing that if you're going to upload something bespoke, then you won't need to have the site name unstyled so it doesn't appear. It appears as text to help those people who haven't got a logo have their site name visible.
TheWorldNewsMedia.org Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 I made my site name / URL into a Logo for the same reasons. I had tried names like World Forum etc... but in the end most modern sites (think Twitter) have the same URL as the site name.... and ironically most would say app here now instead of site.... but you get the idea.

bfarber Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 Generally speaking, if you want your community name shown in the logo, you can add that to your logo image that you upload via Photoshop or similar.
