Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
pequeno Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 I have been sending my Facebook APP for several months for review, and they reject me. I have attached example videos, I explain the functions and so that I use it but nothing ... Quote The use of user_gender complies with established Facebook standards - Reject The use of user_friends complies with established Facebook standards - Reject The use of user_age_range complies with established Facebook standards - Reject The use of user_link complies with established Facebook standards - Reject It seems that Facebook every time we want to make it more difficult, so I do not complicate. Goodbye Facebook! From now on, my forum can not be accessed through Facebook.
Meddysong Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 There's no need for you to know a user's gender, who their friends are etc if you're helping them log in. It's not a surprise that Facebook is rejecting your app on those grounds.
bearback Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 just use the basic facebook login, no need for other functions. using the basic facebook login there is no review process to go through. Your members can then still login using Facebook https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/how-to-use-ips-community-suite/social-sign-in/43-and-above/facebook-r300/
Marc Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 As mentioned above, you are requesting more permissions than are required for the software to use the login facility there. This is where you are having issues.
