Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Square Wheels Posted November 11, 2018 Posted November 11, 2018 I keep up with bounced email by turning off notifications for these users as well as moving them to a bounced email group. I still get these bounced emails even though I turned off all notifications. Where do I change this? Thanks
Joel R Posted November 11, 2018 Posted November 11, 2018 Account Settings > Notification settings. You probably have something like Daily Digests checked. You can check out Mal Bouncer by @stoo2000

Joel R Posted November 11, 2018 Posted November 11, 2018 I don't know if it applies, but make sure you check out ALL options in notification settings. If you scroll down past the initial options, there are a hundred more individual choices for content items. That's happened to.some of my users where they turned off daily digests bit they were still getting email notifications on everything.
Square Wheels Posted November 11, 2018 Author Posted November 11, 2018 Thanks again, I set everything at the top to no, then set all of the email options at the bottom to no, and I still get these emails.
Joel R Posted November 11, 2018 Posted November 11, 2018 Can you post the contents of the email? Are you sure it's not some third party app like Newsletters, which has a different subscription
Square Wheels Posted November 11, 2018 Author Posted November 11, 2018 Sure, here's one of them: Undeliverable: Your PathLabTalk digest Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups: some@email.net The e-mail address you entered couldn't be found. bfarber Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 Login as the user and go to Account > Manage Followed Content. Use the "Filter by" menu to filter by digests, check all rows, and then change the notification type to "Do not send me a notification". Digests are handled a bit outside of the notification system so changing notification preferences does not directly affect digests.
