"There are no applications available to upgrade" message

1. I'm running 4.1.16 of the forums.
2. I cannot use the automated upgrade from the admin panel due to a bug in my version.
3. I downloaded the latest distribution from the client area.
4. I uploaded all files to the server making sure to overwrite old files.
5. I'm using Filezilla with auto file transfer detection on.
6. I ran the installer from myserver.com/admin/upgrade
7. It executes and I get the results shown in the attached image.

Support ticket be best option if unable to upgrade to lastest version.

I don't know if you can still access the ACP but disable all of the third party apps and plugins.  

If your community is unusable, send in an emergency support ticket.

We have support, albeit limited, over the weekend.

The message you got indicates that you did not upload all files from the zip to the correct location on your server. It is possible your client did not actually overwrite the files, or that you uploaded them to the wrong folder (i.e. a staging installation or something).
