I wanted to update from 4.1.9 to 4.3.3, but I only ever get this error message

 

I'd raise a support ticket for that, let IPS take a look so that any subsequent upgrade attempt doesn't result in disaster.

@Yan21 This would suggest that the 4.3.3 files haven't been uploaded to the right location. Please double check where you are uploading them to and make sure that you are overwriting any existing files.

I have now deleted all files except the config_global and then I have the version 4.3.3. uploaded. Result: the same

If you are certain you uploaded the 4.3.3 files to the correct location and you are getting that message, it means the software has already been upgraded to 4.3.3.
