How do you add a Custom Block?

Hi there,

I'm trying to add a simple Custom Block on the Forum home sidebar block (just an image and some text)

Looking at the documentation it seems you can do this, but only within the Pages app?

So if I were to get the Pages app, would I just create a Custom Block in the Admin CP? Then on the front-end block manager, just drag and drop the Custom Block onto the sidebar when viewing the Forum homepage?

I can use Pages just for this purpose?

Could always just add directly into sidebar template instead

@steve00 yes that is true. But I find the drag and drop blocks so versatile and much easier to work with as we can have different combinations on different pages (Forum Home, Clubs, Gallery, etc. )
