Roddan Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 Sorry for hijacking your thread but where in AdminCP did you find the converter ?
Geniix Posted January 18, 2018 Author Posted January 18, 2018 In System -> Conversions -> Start New Conversion
Roddan Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 Thank you! I hope you find a solution. I just tried what you did and I have no problem at all. The only problem I have now is to figure out the Path to my MyBB folder (using webhost)
AlexWright Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 This is something the support team may need to help with. For technical support please submit a ticket via your client area at https://invisioncommunity.com/clientarea/ using the account you used to purchase.
bfarber Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Essentially the error means that your database details are incorrect. Double check the host, port, username, password and database name, and double check the table prefix as well. Note that on most systems, these details are case-sensitive too. Also, be aware that there are two different conversion routines for vBulletin: one for 3.x and one for 4.x/5.x. Make sure you're using the right one.

Actually isnt it one for vb 3.X/4X and a seperate one for vb 5.X?

bfarber Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 My only recommendation in that case is to submit a ticket so we can take a look for you.
