pesci
Are GIFs embedding for anyone else in this release? Youtube seems to embed fine, but external gifs do not. Testing here... Hmmmm... works here fine. Not in my community.
Adlago
In my site gif works well too

pesci
I can get the gifs to embed by clicking "insert media from another site" but they do not embed when just pasting the url.gif into the post.

mwcboard
My site is double posting gifs and pictures. Any ideas why?

pesci
Still not embedding. Cleared cache, tried default theme, nothing helps. Also, just noticed images are not resizing either. They run off the page to the right if too large.
pesci
If I paste a normal giphy link to an image, IPS converts it to this https://media3.giphy.com/media/5xaOcLGvzHxDKjufnLW/giphy.gif If I choose to "add image from url" , IPS converts it to this.. I am guessing IPS adding that "ipsnoembed="true" is an issue. I do have embedding turned on and youtube embeds fine. Any ideas anyone?

I have a ticket in for this, I think a few others do too. I can reproduce it, IPS can't, even on my site. They have escalated the ticket to higher support. They'll fix it, they always do, sadly it's often (almost always) end user error.
Square Wheels
I heard back on my ticket, this is supposed to be fixed in 4.2.2 which is not available.

I believe the issue @Square Wheels was referring to being fixed was the duplication of pasted images.

Last night I cleared the cache on my laptop and the issue was still there. This morning on my work desktop, I cleared the cache and the problem seems to be resolved. Odd.
