BomAle Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 you can configure a footer with two-three column responsive follow this guide and change "header" with "footer" The code is basic but is possible to configure fourth-five columns for 1200px width minimum (based on my test) Consideration: the php can't elaborate responsive. the code have fixed height but with flexbox or some other grid system could be a great solution.

They have their own custom solution. Many themes from the marketplace here also have similar footers which can be customized. If you're a theme designer, yes, obviously it is easy. But you seem to imply that you expect other people to take the time to learn CSS and HTML to write their own custom footer. It's an option if you're willing to do that, but for most people that is not the most ideal option for them. They just want something that can be configured and tweaked from the AdminCP out of the box, without any custom HTML or CSS knowledge required.
