AFAIK there is no option to remove the field to enter the reason for the edit... I am pretty sure you have to edit the templates to remove Reason-Field. The formfields are coming from the php files ( Content\Item and Content\Controller ) The only way to remove this without an plugin is to disable the "Do not log edits" setting in your ACP => System => Postings Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Now if I can just get the drag and drop disabled and the "add to post" + icon disabled in the posting template all will be well!
