opentype Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 So, I replaced my forums with clubs and mass-moved my existing posts into clubs. Problem is: these posts don’t work as if they were actually posted in clubs. They do NOT appear in the club’s activity feed, unless I manually edit something in a topic. Also my public clubs haven’t gained any members as they would had those people posted directly in the club. So I have lots of posts now and only “1 Member” (me) in the club. Those things do not look very appealing.
Management Charles Posted May 20, 2017 Management Posted May 20, 2017 If you could post your details as a bug that would be helpful. You can rebuild the search index for now to make activity show.
Ocean West Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 is clubs and forums a separate table? are they the same wouldn't it be better not to have to setup and mass move but just re assign the forum to a club, keeping it intact?

sudo Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 I have not tried moving posts into a club yet, does it redirect old links?
opentype Posted May 20, 2017 Author Posted May 20, 2017 It doesn't have to, since the topic URLs aren't changing — just the container.
