if you search smurf normally and hit enter u realise that u get 0 results. This is related with how bad ips default search is.

This is why we want sphinx or elastic search since they would be able to search incomplete words for us

Really, I thought the "Minimum characters to search" ignores this rule.

After they added 4 characters to search. Ruined the search tool.

IPS can not search incomplete words, not related to this setting. I will find a solution. ^_^

Will you add support for Commerce products?

It would be nice if it worked to show products with their image in the search.

Can't believe this is the first time I've seen this Marketplace product.  This is amazing!

As soon as you include IP.Gallery, I will purchase.

It seems that the problem is in version 4.1.3, I tested the latest version and it worked

 You should upgrade your site to the newest version so that it can work with all plugins.

Can you confirm IPS can search Ip.Gallery? I tested my site and it didn't work.

Yes, at least my IPS (latest version) can search IP.Gallery.  It searches file name and file comments.

Thank you.

You're welcome

Hey, some general suggestions for you:

  • Search Forums - if don't have Topic Thumbnail, should show first thumbnail (like Featured Content)
  • Default Thumbnails - maybe use fa-icon for topic, gallery, image, topic, etc.  So people can see right away content type

It already has that features.
