Data at Your Fingertips: Explore Our New Reporting and Statistical Capabilities By Ryan Ashbrook 23 hours ago
TheGreyWizard
I had a handful of security issues fixed within my website and the tech said as long as Apache config file and the Php config aren't messed with, these security fixes won't need to be updated. So does the regular IPS software update ever mess with these two particular files, requiring me to have the security continually updated?
IveLeft...
I very much doubt IPS messes with "these files", but without knowing the files your tech is talking about then its hard to know.......
TheGreyWizard
This was his exact reply "Changes were made in the Apache config file and the Php config. As long as you dont mess with them you will be fine." I will email IPS just to make sure - I don't want to be doing updates and have these files altered and not know about it and then have the security issues I had before and not know about it. IveLeft...
IPS software wont be altering the Apache Config or the PHP config
RevengeFNF
The tech said it changed apache and php config files and for you to not change them. IPS have nothing to do with that.
