Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted January 11, 20169 yr Let your members help you with tagging your content! The plugin will show a button next to the 'follow' button in the topic view, so you don't have to edit the first post for adding tags. Clicking on the 'edit tags' button will show a drop down menu in which you can easily add tags to the topics, or delete previously added tags.
January 11, 20169 yr Bingo! This does exactly what I've been waiting for. Easy, fast, direct. Thank you.
January 13, 20169 yr broke my site on 4.1 , try to post i get server errors then go back and theres 4 posts . just bought this yesterday hope you have a fix
January 13, 20169 yr Author Just to understand: you were posting a new topic, and then you got a problem? I need to know a bit more to be able to reproduce the bug that you are describing. Have you tried to disable the plugin to see if the error persists or is gone?
January 14, 20169 yr Author That was a weird thing to solve. But the new version can be downloaded. Thanks for reporting!
June 7, 20168 yr How do I get this to show up in a third-party theme? It shows beautifully in the default theme, but I need it to show in the installed theme. Thanks! Great job on this!
June 7, 20168 yr Author I see it showing up in my own custom theme, so must be something theme-related. Can you pm me a link to your site, so I can have a look and see if I can figure out what is going wrong?
June 14, 20168 yr Author Nope, I don't have a license for it. However, if you would buy it if it does, I may look into it?
June 14, 20168 yr I would say that I'm interested in it. Most of my tagging is done in Content at the moment (I'm still on 3.4 for another month or two) but the ability to start to tag topics and have them show up in the "similar content" block in my Pages would be helpful.
June 18, 20168 yr 1. Does this work with the inbuilt tags of IPS? 2. Does it work with the tags of Advanced Tags app?
June 18, 20168 yr Author Yes, it works with the built in tags of IPS. It uses that system. I have not checked it with advance tags and prefixes - but I think that uses the same system, so it would make sense if it worked together.
June 25, 20168 yr Works great with latest version 4.1.12.3 PHP 5.6.23 Nginx 1.11.1 Also works with PHP 7.0.8.
August 21, 20168 yr This seems to conflict with boards which have their type set to Question & Answer. When entering a topic the first post (the Question) doesn't show at the top of the page, just a blue bar (see attached screenshot).
October 17, 20168 yr IP v4.1.15 and latest version of Tag Management, when enabled the "Next Unread Topic" prompt is not available. When I disabled Tag Management, the Next Unread Topic prompt re-appeared. There seem to be a conflict with the two. Any help is greatly appreciated, nice application though! I loved while I had it up and running, it works great, yet there is just this little conflict it seem. Capture below shows without Tag Management Capture below shows with Tag Management enabled
October 24, 20168 yr Any help please? Still not working. Any clarification is greatly appreciated, thanks.
October 30, 20168 yr Author Hi John, thanks for spotting the bug. I am quite busy at the moment, hence the delay in responding to this topic and my apologies for that. It's difficult for me to come up with an ETA for a fix. Though, let me look into this right now and if it's an easy fix, I may deploy a new version straight away.
October 30, 20168 yr Author Having an issue with getting my account renewed - waiting for IP now to set this straight. KYP.

I assume it's not a simple fix otherwise there would be a later version, I'll keep checking back.
