Ocean West Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 There is a setting to set language pluralization for your item. It would be nice to have an option what you wish the Create Link would say currently it is <Singular Capitalization Noun> in <Database Name> I know i can edit the language string using the quick translator tool - perhaps it would be enough to expose the language strings here to allow you to directly edit.
Ocean West Posted May 13, 2015 Author Posted May 13, 2015 Well i tried using the language tool but anytime you make a change to a field or the database settings the language gets reset even if you don't edit the Database Name or the Strings.
BABYenKIND Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 in my forum I can not find the language tool at all.....
Nathan Explosion Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Open the ACP and type 'language' into the search box.
Meddysong Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Or even just do Customization > Languages in the ACP. You'll see a button Translation Tools.
BABYenKIND Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Open the ACP and type 'language' into the search box.i did...it started running and running and running..
BABYenKIND Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Or even just do Customization > Languages in the ACP. You'll see a button Translation Tools.customization has no languages ..... i just tried again te be sure
Meddysong Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Are you using IPS4? If you do, then you should see the following when you click on Customization in the ACP:
BABYenKIND Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 yes i am using IPS4, but I have no Localisation in Customization..
Meddysong Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 In that case you'll need to open a support ticket. This is a basic feature of the suite, so yours is clearly missing things.
