snugRugBug Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Hi. As far as I know you can have 2 installs of IP Board on your server, the 'live' install and the 'test' install. I wanted to make a fresh install of IP4, so deleted all the files of my test install so that I can install a new one. But when I try to make a new install, the installer says that my license key is already in use. I have tried both my license key and my testinstall license key, neither work.Is there a way to fix this?Thanks

Nathan Explosion Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 As long as you are sure it's the same URL, then raise a ticket and ask for them to reset your test location to allow you to move forward.
Jim M Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 You will need to run it at the same exact URL as it is recorded as part of your license. If you need to change it, please submit a ticket.
snugRugBug Posted May 12, 2015 Author Posted May 12, 2015 ok. thank you. I have found that I only experience this problem with IPB4. I have been able to install IPB3 freely. Will see what happens with the upgrade.
