JEFF MACK Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 I could have sworn in the early screenshots that there was an icon in the menu bar to insert tables. Is that available? Can it be turned on?
Daniel F Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 You could install following plugin http://ckeditor.com/addon/table to get tables for the editor
Nathan Explosion Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 http://ckeditor.com/addon/tableDownload the zip, log in to the ACP and go to customization -> Editor -> Toolbars and add a button. If you want to go further than that, then add in http://ckeditor.com/addon/tabletools too.

I love it.As far as the extra tools, I added that and also needed to add a bunch of other files like dialog, contextmenu, etc How do I make sure those are turned on, is there a file I need to edit to make the tools live?
Nathan Explosion Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Nope - just install them and they are on straight away. Some ckeditor addons will have requirements for other plugins - just need to install them and all is good. The ACP will let you know if there are any requirements.http://ckeditor.com/addon/dialog (provides support for dialog boxes in ckeditor)http://ckeditor.com/addon/contextmenu (provides right-click functionality for created elements in ckeditor)

Nathan Explosion Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Yep - add button (some plugins don't add buttons, so I can see why you asked) Nothing needs to be done outside of the ACP at all (if anything, manually doing it outside of the acp will likely lead to errors in the ACP)Any time you want to add a plugin to CKEditor, just click "Add Button" and it does the job for you (configuration changes, uploads and extracts the zip to the correct location)
JEFF MACK Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 It is a really nice feature. Thank you for your help and I can see all my fancy table menus are working fine now.
