Wolf Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 I currently have a license for IP.Board and IP.Content. When the suite comes out, will I need to buy the whole thing just to keep what I have?
Ryan H. Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 No. They will be split up differently, but costs and licensing are not changing at this point. Instead of IP.Board being $175 + $25 renewal, it'll be [something like] $100 for the core, then $75 + $25 for IP.Board, and other applications are unchanged.
Ryan Ashbrook Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 No. If you already own a license, you will not have to buy anything unless you are starting a new site, and require an additional license for it.
Kyle F Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 Is the IP.Apps prices increasing like, their renewal prices? If the renewal prices go up, that's it, I'm leaving IP.Board for good! - I'd have to use crappy phpBB or MyBB! :(

Wolf Posted May 28, 2012 Author Posted May 28, 2012 This is good news. IPS treats us much better than the vB boys do.
bfarber Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Just to clarify, if you already own licenses, you will not need to repurchase anything at all.
