pavero Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Well, sorry. It works for me as you can see on screenshot. It's hard to tell you something if I can't reproduce it. I'll try it on a new installation of tests and I'll let you know
pavero Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 on a new installation does not work this is really strange is a bit annoying that is exactly what I was looking for the hook
Adriano Faria Posted October 1, 2012 Author Posted October 1, 2012 I'm sorry. It works for me. Feel free to ask for some Marketplace moderator to test it.
Adriano Faria Posted October 1, 2012 Author Posted October 1, 2012 on a new installation does not work this is really strange is a bit annoying that is exactly what I was looking for the hook Look, I don't think you know how this hook works. According to the stats on your screenshot, there's only YOU online and you are on board index. Already told you that SOMEONE NEEDS TO BE READING A TOPIC, otherwise the sidebar block WON'T APPEAR. Open ANY topic on a new tab and press F5 on board index (previous tab)! You'll see the hook works!
sallam Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 I suspect that this hook caused the corruption of my database. It caused an OOM (out of memory) perhaps due to this query it uses: count(location_1_id) as total This made the server kill the database, which caused the corruption.
Adriano Faria Posted June 21, 2013 Author Posted June 21, 2013 Obviously if you have a very busy board, this and any other hook that adds an extra query, it's not recommended for you. Anyway, I use it on my live board with 275 users online (avg) and I never had any problem on my DB.
fadedturbulence Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Just want to say, works fine for me on 3.4.5. If its not working for you make sure you follow every single step, and like dev said, make sure someone IS reading a thread. I was able to do it myself even, make a new tab and go look at a topic the other tab should be the board index (forum index). Refresh your forum index and you will see it works. Thanks for this great mod. Its really a neat one.
sallam Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Thanks Adriano. Its probably because my server needs more ram, it currently has only 1gb.
januarygirl Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Adriano, are you still planning to release an extended (paid) version of this hook? Cause I'm really interested in it. :)

HellaWicked Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Thanks for this hook Adriano, works great on our 3.4.5 board. If you're ever considering adding an extra feature, I may have a small suggestion? To include in the settings which Forums to exclude from showing? No biggie, it's great as is. Was just throwing that out just in case lol.

Done in a new version: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> It also has an ajax popup to list members who are viewing the topic. Waiting to be approved.
FreeWillow22 Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 I installed this plugin on my board www.dealdunia.in but didn't seem to work.
Adriano Faria Posted September 25, 2013 Author Posted September 25, 2013 Thia is for IP.Board 3.2 and requires users reading topics, of course.
FreeWillow22 Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Aah... I am on 3.4.1. Is there any version that would work on 3.4.1?
