I don't know if I'm blind or what, but i really can't find the shoutbox' settings. I own another board where these settings are located in the "other applications, shoutbox, settings" tab, which doesn't exist in the current board !

I already tried to reinstall the shoutbox, it didn't work. :sad: Am I missing something ?

Make sure you have the latest version of the files uploaded, then click the Recache Apps & Modules button on the Manage Applications & Modules page in the Admin CP.

 

I checked all the files and clicked the button, "settings" are still missing. I really don't know what to do. ^^

There's nothing else I can tell you, if you had the latest files uploaded and the apps and modules were recached, the links would be there.

I uninstalled the shoutbox, let's try another reinstallation with a new set of freshly downloaded files.

EDIT : i downloaded new files from IPS and here it is. I really don't know why it didn't appear before. Thanks ! :)

Can you tell me how to resize the Shoutbox? I need the Shoutbox Height to be longer so more Shout can be seen, right now it a bit tight.

how can I make this to where the name column is wider and the name of the user is on the right side.

By changing the code in the skin_shoutbox -> shout_row skin template the way you want it.

I don't know what code to use, but I think I know where to put it. I can't tell if the code is PHP or what.

It's IP.Board template code. It's mostly HTML, with some PHP and custom tags mixed in.

Well actually, I was wondering if you would know how to develop a modification that will put a green arrow next to every Shoutbox Username, and when you click it, their name (along with color, font weight, etc) is put in the shoutbox text box.

If you could help me with this, it would be great.

Shoutbox, how do I search for all members posts, all I can see at the moment is a filter to search for one member only, between specific dates.
