There is indeed a tab but nothing that seems to appear to fix my issue.

I have had this error for awhile now and have had many people to try to fix it and all of them thought it was a AJAX error.

Not sure if this will help.

If neither the enter key nor the button work, then it means the javascript that handles both of those actions isn't loading. Verify that you have properly uploaded all of the files for this app, including the ones in /public/js/. If you use Firefox, try the Firebug extension to see if anything is failing to load in the Net panel, or if you have any errors in the Console panel.

It seems to work for everyone else now but still not me.

Then that's probably a browser issue, try a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5)

 

iirc he takes custom work, for pay, which this would be.

maybe price would be good, maybe worth checking.

I will always pay authors for good mods (like the shoutbox), modders do a blinding job.

It wasn't said because it's not true, I do not do custom work anymore. You were not left with a solution because I do not offer support on customizations you want to make, I support my products the way they are designed to work.

Have you ever paid anything for the Shoutbox? Maybe you have, I don't necessarily have a reliable means to link up people who post here with people who give me donations for my work, but in my experience more people say they will donate to authors for stuff that we do than those who actually do so. Nearly all of my donations come from the same few people on multiple occasions. Meanwhile I have hundreds of other folks who get on my case for not taking the time out of my day to work out a custom solution for their individual needs without any expect that I'm going to get any kind of compensation for my time. It's things like this that make me often question why I do what I do.

Getting a error only with the archive,everything else works fine

not sure how to fix this so any help would be great

not positive but that looks to be a php.ini max memory setting issue

The archive feature can lead to this error, and IP.Board's memory debugging tools offer me no way to diagnose the issue. I've in a suggestion to IPS to improve this, but as no one ever responded in support of this it probably won't ever happen.

How do I move the shoutbox from the sidebar to some other place?

Not sure why.. but after installing this update, this image no longer works on any of my skins..

You have to upload the /public/style_images/master/ contents from this app to each other subfolder in public/style_images/.

Ok that seem to have fixed it for all but the default / Master skin. And the image IS in the master directory.. it was the only one that made it in originally. I'm not getting a missing image box or anything.. there's just no image there... In regular view on the forum index. If I click on "Shoutbox", then it will show there only. On all the other skins, it also shows when it's viewable on the board index. If that makes any sense.

Sorry but where I find button for open on popup the shoutbox? I have able this feature into admincp..

Try a hard refresh, or see if you need to revert the hookGlobalShoutbox skin template.
