This hook will work like STOP SHOUTING IN TOPIC TITLES on posts content.

Settigs:

• which forums this feature will work
• which user groups will be affected
• which kind of posting you want:
  • all words converted to lowercase
  • First Character Of Each Word Capitalized

I've have download and install it and tested,but the shouting words i posted is not coverting to lowercase ..i have choose also the forum and the groups and still stay the same in CAPS.. :( don't know what is the problem i really want this to work..

I was right the culprit is the "(e$30) ibEconomy Points Per Post" i had to remove all hooks to find out which was making it don't work and that's the culprit :P

i run in a little issue with the hook well when my members post a emotion it come out like this

respect <img src='*******/public/style_emoticons/<#emo_dir#>/ras_thankyou_thumb.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ras_thankyou_thumb:' />

with no image in a box but when i turn the hook off the emotion post fine...

For this hook to work in a good way, it needs to allow One capitalized letter in the beginning of every sentence.

Or a setting for how many capitalized letters allowed maybe...

The hook work good any way only issue i havin is when i selected groups to use the hook they emoticons don't show up in post it come up with big red X in a box but other then that hook work as i requested...

I'm planning a new version for today (maybe), where you'll can add exceptions words in Admin CP (IPS will always be IPS, not ips or Ips). I'll see if I can do something like that for you...

Ability to make a whitelist of words sounds like a really good idea. After this feature is implemented I highly doubt that this mod can be improved anymore :)

I've notice when it set to "First Character Of Each Word Capitalized" and some one post a image the http change to Http and the image come up with a red x in a box.

It also capitalizes lines breaks, so you end up with

<Br />

in amongst a long string of text.

Also, it would be good to have a setting to exclude words from the filter. e.g. BIOS, POST, etc.
