This hook will enable you to automatically post a notification to Twitter with the first sentence or the first 140 characters which ever is the shortest. It will also provided a bit.ly link back to the topic in the notification. You are also able to select forums for the topic notifications to go from.

For a working demo, please visit my website www.invisiondreams.com and also my twitter www.twitter.com/invisiondreams. As you can see new topics from the selected forums are appearing on Twitter with the link back feature working.

Just updated to V1.0.1 because of a small error message of here being displayed when editing threads etc

It should post the first 140 characters or the first sentence which ever is the shortest.

If nothing is getting posted to twitter, have you tried enabling the error log. To see if there is any errors being returned from twitter?

Caps here is something I would like to draw your attention to:-

I was just going through the twits of my site and they don't look so good. Here are example of some of the twits: %7Boption%7Dhttp://www.....,and GM Check-In #1: Post your team name here before Wednesday, or else you will be fired.
Is there any way to fix it so that they look nice and presentable?

an option to tweet the "Topic Title" of each new topic would be great!

I'm another who would like simply the topic title tweeted.

Although I'd go so far as to say I'd like the forum section & topic title along with a custom hashtag (to know it is an automated tweet) added.

For example:

#hashtag - Forum section - topic title - bit.ly link

i.e. #TSSN - FL Studio - How to create a bassline - bit.ly?????
