Collin1000 Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Weird it don't work in ACP. I think it has something to do with the acp sessions. Not sure. >_<
Andy Rixon Posted January 30, 2010 Author Posted January 30, 2010 possible... just keep at it really, if not in this version but in next versions! personally... in the ibp arcade for 2.3 i never used the acp uploader, I just uploaded games via FTP, was much easier really.

Andy Rixon Posted January 30, 2010 Author Posted January 30, 2010 That can still be done, and the import script can get the tar files from the tar directory. Yeah, so I i wouldn't have any use of the uploader, and personally uploaders take to long where using FTP don't
Collin1000 Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Where can I get some games :) Any v2 ibproarcade games are supported. Personally, I download all my games from ibpdownloads.com
Andy Rixon Posted January 31, 2010 Author Posted January 31, 2010 Ok, so I've done some skinning. Game List: High Scores Listing: Hope you like it :D
Collin1000 Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Weve got a public bug tracker now setup :thumbsup:http://dev.geekmanic...rcade%20System/ Also, some minor enhancements have been made to the game listings page to make it look more like the vbulliten arcade, as a user suggested above. Here is the latest screenshot: Some new features in the above screenshot: Game ratings! "Favorites" (user panel to view favorites is not yet coded...) Placeholders for quick score information (based on vbulliten suggestion above) As you can see, things are progressing very well. Andy and I hope to release the first down-loadable version of this mod in a few days, so stay tuned!
Booth Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Yeah. Its useability. In my opinion, people wont comment during game play. If anything, they will comment after they play the game. Im open to suggestion from others, mainly how other arcade systems out there work? Regarding comments. Other arcade systems allow you to make a comment and it appears alongside your score on the leaderboard for the game they've just got a high-score on. I think it's ajax powered as the comment appears straight away on the page when you submit it. You should really sign up to www.v3arcade.com and check it out. It'll only take 5 mins to see what I mean ;)

No new features at this point.

phinsup Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 wow really coming along nice. If we've got games loaded from the previous arcade can we import them and use them or do we need to reupload them?
Andy Rixon Posted January 31, 2010 Author Posted January 31, 2010 To Do List Updated! wow really coming along nice. If we've got games loaded from the previous arcade can we import them and use them or do we need to reupload them? v2 games from ibparcade will work with the iArcade System when BETA 4 is released, which won't be long :D

If you have any ibproarcade v2 games, with their tar files, they can be directly imported using the standalone tar importer script.
Andy Rixon Posted January 31, 2010 Author Posted January 31, 2010 Collin, how have you got the modules_admin folder structured inside.
