Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted July 15, 200915 yr So it seems that pretty much everything but the status updates (and maybe signatures ) support reporting (usually from an easy to see button). Why can't status updates be reported as abuse? For an example, look at your status updates here...
July 15, 200915 yr Just report the member. There's no need to make individual data points on the profile reportable imo. That's a LOT of overhead when you can already report the member and just note in the report "look at their status".
July 15, 200915 yr When you report member, I would say copy and paste their status message though into the report
July 15, 200915 yr [quote name='Andy D' date='15 July 2009 - 11:07 AM' timestamp='1247670447' post='1826600'] When you report member, I would say copy and paste their status message though into the report I would say to use a cam, take a pic of the screen, then send that picture in along with a screenshot, copied/pasted text, notarized letter of what the complaint is about and why the person felt the need to file the complaint (did it offend them, etc). Of course, pasted text along with a link to a screenshot of the board index might be enough to make sure someone can't claim that they didn't really have that as their status.
