Posted October 16, 200816 yr I just found out that there is a control panel to my forum... www.mysite.com/cpanel What the... is that?? I tried logging into it and dont know the username or password I should use to log into it (i've since changed them a few times since opening my forum).
October 16, 200816 yr That's your sites control panel where you do a number of things. Contact your host for your username / password...
October 16, 200816 yr Your username and password are usually the same as you use for FTP. Your Cpanel is where you do EVERYTHING for your site. Set up email accounts, databases, IP deny, traffic stats, etc. :)
October 16, 200816 yr ah yes.. i got it. I tested creating a backup and messed up my disk space... I cant find a way to delete the bloody backup now. rrrrrrr
October 16, 200816 yr If this is actually cPanel brand control panel..... Open the File Manager within cPanel. The backup might be in your root directory, in public_html, or another location you chose when you tried to do the backup. Left-click the icon immediately to the left of the filename. From the top menu bar, choose "Delete" and confirm the deletion.
