Milt Posted July 5, 2007 Share Posted July 5, 2007 My members as well as members of many boards use emoticons quite a bit. Currently the smilies appear in random order in the drop down list. We need an option that will allow us to custom sort the list so that similar emoticons can be grouped together and thus be easier for users to find.Thanks for considering this in the next upgrade.Milt Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Even if you go in and start changing IDs in MySQL tables, the order that IP.Board pulls out the emoticons from the database tables doesn't appear to be linked to the IDS, but linked to the internal database timestamp for each emoticon row, there's no way you can try and massage the emoticon display order without hacking at the code.In the AdminCP, a feature to order the emoticons (like we can order forums for example) would be very welcome.
