Posted November 11, 200618 yr As Admin Is there a way to remove a member Subscriptions to a forum or a topic from acp???View TopicsView ForumsSometimes we do get a high volume of return email because of the user email is invalid...
November 11, 200618 yr There is, I think. Just edit the member from the ACP and set Recieve email from administrators to no. Though that's a guess. I don't even know if that setting exists. :P
November 11, 200618 yr In 2.0.3 I believe there was an issue where "Email notification of replies" was turned on by default in the skin, but wasn't checked. If you can find that topic, you can find the SQL query (which might require slight modification to work) that will email replies from the database.

I want to be able to remove certain members subscriptions to topics/forums as there are a high amount of returned emails.

One week his email did not work. I got so many returned emails...I am asking to ipb guys to put an option in acp to cancel user subscribtion to any forum or any topics from acp...That's allThanks,

The feature you are requesting would be beneficial to me too.
November 13, 200618 yr So it is a good idea but can ipb implement this idea to the new ipb board?
November 13, 200618 yr Not for 2.2. Though they would with a future version. So it is a good idea but can ipb implement this idea to the new ipb board?
November 14, 200618 yr +1It is very time consuming to sift through the failure bounce and find a username. Then find the member_id number in the ACP for that member, then search through the forum_tracker table via phpmyadmin to find the member_id and delete it the row.Would be a very useful option.
November 16, 200618 yr If they put an option under member serach in acp, to give us delete spesific or whole supscription to a forum or topic that would be an excellant feature...
November 16, 200618 yr The feature to unsubscribe all users from a specific topic is there, but that's all i know of...The per user unsubscribe is a feature that is missing though...
