TestingSomething Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Also, gallery on this site is now RC2. So I would expect possibly all 3 of these to be released Thursday. Blog and Gallery usually don't stay on the site long before public release. And since RC has got all the way to 3, I am just guessing they will unload them all to us today (Thursday).
Elemental Crisis Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 A Thursday release would be nice but if Thursday comes and goes and theres no release I wouldint mind.
UnitedPakistan Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Yesterday, I had a dream that RC3 was released this morning. Quite odd...
Boozer Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Yesterday, I had a dream that RC3 was released this morning. Quite odd...wow. you dream about stuff like that?
Canadian Hotdogman Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Well either way all we can do is hope that it will be released sooner rather than later.
Mesmer Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Is there any cookies fix in RC3?Using IE, it is necessary to set your cookie domain in the cookie settings in the ACP.RC3 we've added code to try to prevent not having a cookie domain being set from becoming an issue.
Alex Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 FYI It has been added to the Download center and is now available for us guys. Looks nice and stable, well done IPS ^_^

lerums Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 I'm not in a hurry for IPB 2.2 FINAL to come out since we're designing a News CMS to work with it and we're not ready to release :P
Guest Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 >> Honestly I am expecting it out next year.IPB3.0 RC4? :P
Amy T Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 LOL next year is only 2 months away.I get what you mean though.
Working4computers Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 I believe Debbie promised that it would be released before the end of the year. :)I am talking about IPB 2.2....
Cool Surfer Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 a few weeks then?My guess is another week. I am happy with even stable RC3
TCWT Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 The bug with the emoticon name hightighting after being clicked on still exists. I'm surprised IPB can't fix this in 3 RCs :o
Cool Surfer Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 The bug with the emoticon name hightighting after being clicked on still exists. I'm surprised IPB can't fix this in 3 RCs :oYa, the emotions are highlighted and if you type anything they are washed off.+1 for change needed.
Mr. PornSharK Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 speaking of emoticons, they still havent tried parsing them on profile comments as well :(o well... maybe they'll do something about it
TestingSomething Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I am guessing final is next. There just doesnt seemt o be much bug reporting going on or fixes anymore.Although there is some weird problem where using the html logic tool is messing up my cache files, and they never are able to reprodce it. It happens on 2 separate sites I own.
Defenestration Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 There have been quite a few fixes since RC3, so I expect (and hope for) a RC4. :P
tzrtim Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I've not had 1 error yet on RC1 and RC3 (RC2 did not work at all well for me) but Now i have no problem and even using it on a live forum without any errors (what i can see) So hope its the end of the RC :) as most of the bugs look fixed with RC3 and not many bugs been posted. so can hope!

UBERHOST.NET Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I am using mine live on both of my sites and it is pretty flawless now. I think you should be rewarded for making a positive comment, Bashers. Have a muffin.
TestingSomething Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 I always make positive comments. Just nobody pays attention to them.
