For example, you can have this Friends list up, and click to view someone's profile, or click to send someone a PM, and this window will stay up, and on top. It is easy for users who want to cycle through their friends profile without having to click 'My Friends' everytime.But of course, as with anything, other options will be looked into with future releases.
