IPB 2.2.x release date? Patch ?

Hello :)

I know... Maybe you won't answer my question, because many people ask it, but... :D

I have to change my host on the middle of July, and my new host is one MySQL 5.x...

Just want to know if the release date is nearly here, or not, and if not, if you will give just a little patch to make IPB 2.1.6 work with MySQL 5.x.

Sorry one more time, for my english first, and for my question... >_<

Sorry too, because I'm sure I didn't put this topic in the right forum........

Other than a screenshot of the new ACP, very little info has been given about the 2.2.x series. I don't think even an alpha release has been announced yet.

Our beta testers group has already been beta testing 2.2.

That said, I don't forsee it available in mid-July, though I could be wrong.

2.1.x mostly works on MySQL 5 if you implement the bug fixes in the bug tracker - unfortunately we won't be releasing a patch for the 2.1.x series.

IPB 2.1.6 works fine with MySQL 5, it just doesn't install on MySQL 5 :P

There's no public beta for 2.2.x?

Nope appaerently not or I would beta test it

There's no public beta for 2.2.x?

I don't see why they would do this...?

I run ipb 1.3, 2.0 and 2.1 on my local pc on mysql 5 and php 5, they all run fine, although I had to make some minor changes to make ipb 1.3 run. :P

Ok! Thank you guys, it's works fine too for me :)
