Hi guys, After making a duplicate of my production site, I was able to get it upgraded with IPB 5 beta1. However, I noticed that emails are being sent to members (from the beta site). Is there a way I can totally disable emails on the beta site? It turns out that all forums and PM's are reset to a "new" status so the emails are flooding. Also, does running a copy of my production site also charge users for subscriptions? I want to know if I will need to disable something else to prevent this. Thank you!

I noticed that in both posts and users signatures, existing images that are attached to the post doesn't show up (there is an empty space) - and only shows up once you click on that empty space to open the image in the popup modal. This happens on the default theme with no modifications as well. Newly attached images works just fine. also, if i simply edit a post and re-add the attached photo to the post itself, it works just fine. Any idea? maybe some background conversions tasks didn't run?

It is possible to modify the CSS of the side panel menu but not of the menu in the header. In my example below, we see one version with the side panel activated, another without the side panel. If the side panel is activated, you can use the Theme Editor to modify the appearance of the links and their background. If the side panel is disabled, then the menu is present in the header. The Theme Editor no longer displays the side panel but displays an additional choice in the header. However, you can only modify the background color of the primary and secondary zone. That's all. We don't have the same choice as for the side panel …

Now we can start managing tags in ACP Admin, I have 65 pages of tags. So 6000 tags ... I have several suggestions: we have information on the number of contents linked to the tag (x items) but it is impossible to find out more without going directly to the tag page on the front; Making the counted elements clickable in order to display them would be practical. Also be able to classify them by number of related items. In addition to the name, have its slug in parentheses or italics in the listing display. Some widgets allow you to choose a personalized title. This is not the case for everyone. Is it possible to have this possibility for the Calendar widget please (Upcoming Events) ? In our particular case, we have several agendas. We have 2 separate Calendar widgets (this is desired) to display upcoming events from 2 different calendars. Unfortunately, they have the same title which is not modifiable or in any case not distinguishable between two widgets. Widget Calendar (no title) : Widget feed from database (with title) :

Beta 2 restored in my installation front/global/globalTemplate. I followed an instruction from Nathan here But still in source code page - missing "<link rel ="preload" ...etc. >" which I created with custom template and hook. I've experimented with all the location options, but none of them make my custom template appear in the source code of the page. Of course I clear system caches a test site before reviewing source code. This is weird: I have 2 installations (main + development testing duplicate). my dev site now runs 5beta1 (upgrade directly from 4). my main site now runs 5beta2 (upgrade directly from 4). on my main site (beta2) I see some missing language strings on the admin panel and theme editor. for example: I tried reseting all language settings (deleted all custom languages, add a new english default language and chose it for my user) but still get the same thing. When searching for it on the language editor (by key, for example themeeditor_var_64) I get no results. It seems like the key itself is missing?... also in the admin panel, when managin…

This is the page on which the database of our articles is linked. Although I still have to clean up the too many tags, there will still be articles that have a certain number, sometimes a little too many; Can we have the option or can you apply the same logic as applied in the unread content page (discover/unread) which seems to display 4 tags maximum and a 5th transformed into a dropdown listing the other tags and thus avoiding this which can be seen in the first capture. That would be cool. Display config for the first screen shot is Wallpaper.

PHP: 8.2.23 - MySQL: 10.6.19 - Browser: Microsoft Edge 129.0.2792.89 Completely vanilla installation of Invision Community. No third-party applications, I am using the default theme and there are no advertisements. The only customisation I have made is adding the English (Australia) language (no other language installed), but I don't think that's what's causing the issue. The uploading of files and upgrade went smoothly without an issue. I can access the AdminCP too, however when I visit my community, I am met with a HTTP ERROR 500. Hi guys, Long story short, I tried to upgrade our test site to v5 and faced 500 errors. I showed a little more info and it was pointed out to me that the architecture of my root folder was strange. In fact since 2015 on IPB and coming from a phpbb conversion, this inevitably leaves traces and files which no longer have anything to do here. So I tried a brand new installation of v5, not an upgrade. I modified the conf file to point to a database that had undergone the upgrade in order to find our 20 years of data. On both beta1 and beta2, when going to the API logs page (/admin/?app=core&module=applications&controller=api&tab=apiLogs), i get this error: ErrorException: Class IPS\nexus\api\shipments could not be loaded. Ensure it is in the correct namespace. (256)

When it comes to making custom apps in IC5 my mind goes straight to the hook system where I encountered some inconveniences. In IC5 the hook system is supposedly equivalent to IPS4 plugins. The current beta version of the IC hook feature offers four types: before inside-start inside-end after those types of hooks are implemented by specifying hook targets in templates like (data-ips-hook="footer"). Although this method is straightforward to use it comes with restrictions, for third party developers aiming to develop applications or themes. Right now, the featured download block shows an icon the same size as all the others, and assaults the viewer with a wall of text. The featured downloads block would look a lot better if you used a big image and a small block of text. The text block should have a dark margin around it, but I could not easily do this with CSS. You get the idea.

Hello, I just updated to Beta 2 automatically from the admin panel. After the update, all the widgets on my homepage, which I had created using the page builder, disappeared. The only widget that remained was the forum topics and posts widget. I didn’t mind since I could recreate them, but when I tried to do so, I encountered the following error. Even though I select grid, featured, or wallpaper options, no changes occur.Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong? I wanted to check before opening a topic in the Bug section. I would appreciate it if the developers could take a look at it.

(not sure if this is considered a "bug" or just a needed custom modifications) When using a custom header and footer with HTML content that occupies extra space, the mobile menus don't account for this additional height. The .ipsOffCanvas__panel class uses position:fixed and top:0, which causes it to overlap with the custom header. While I was able to resolve this by adjusting the top value to 85px in custom CSS, since custom headers are a built-in feature rather than a theme modification, perhaps the default theme behavior should automatically account for this extra space? Alternatively, because of some features with the scrolling behavior, if keeping top:0 is …

I have a live site and a localhost test site on the live site images for the feed do not show , but on the localhost site they all show no problems on localhost just the live test site. Why would this happen tried deleting everything and re-installing still images do not show on live test site.
