Is there a place to modify the search area of each Pages database? When hitting the gear icon in Records list, there is just Category and Has Comments. And Category doesn't have any of our categories in it...

Hey all, I've been using Pages for a very long time, and about 5 years ago I began using it for a homebrewed classifieds section. Up until now, it's worked out really well for us, but I'm preparing to upgrade to 4.5.x and a key part of this isn't compatible. In addition to having classifieds set up in Pages, I have been using the Automation Rules app to handle the following: members at a free group level must pay a fee per ad that they want to post members at a paid subscription group level get free access to post unlimited ads automatically set an expiration date based on the publish date automatic cleanup of expired or hidden ads …

Hey all, Using the premade block named "Members" to show a list of members has been working alright but is there anyway to, 1) Check multiple fields. Say I want to show all members of a certain group but also make sure they have the right section under a custom field I created called "Teams." For example I want to list between these 3 members, Bob - Group: Admin / Team: A Jeff - Group: Admin / Team: B Peter - Group: Admin / Team: C Right now It will list them all as they are all Admins but is there anyway to also sort it by my custom field (Team)? Using Invision Community Version: v4.5.4.2

Thanks to suggestions from a couple people here, I have started over with a new default theme and am coloring it myself. Two questions . . . First: Is there a code that I can add to custom CSS to create a light background bar for all items in the Activity Feed? Attached is a picture showing the current look. Any new posts already have the background light color. I'd like that to appear behind the updates of updated profile pics and the like. Second: Some of the plain text links are still showing up in a light grey color. Again, thanks for all the help from those of you here who continue to answer my posts. Is there a code that I can add in Custom CSS to put a light-area background color behind text that is added to a Page from Pages App using the WYSIWYG Editor Block? Attached is a photo of the way it looks now, but I'd like a light-colored background to show up behind the text. Thanks.

When writing an content using the editor for a Pages database content field, I would like to allow our editors to use a variable for the base URL so that when we move from staging/dev to prodcution, it will pickup the the change in base_url no matter what system it might be running on. Is there a way to write the variable into the Editor field so it will be picked up correctly when moved to a different host or domain? For example: Here is the link: {base_url}/our-internal database

I'm more than positive I'm just missing something (I've only been with Invision for a few weeks), but how do you change the order status (in progress, delayed, complete, etc.) of a client order? Is this possible from the "orders" page, or from the Admin CP? If not, is there a plugin out there anyone is using they can recommend to me? I appreciate the help!

The default theme is so limited and none of the developer themes appear to offer anything close (that I could tell) to what you have on your site which is what sold me on Invision Community for appearance. Are we able to get the theme that Invision uses which is way more capable? Thanks, a very very long time member of Invision Community

In the AdminCP, I've got the settings to delete all deleted content from ModCP after 30 Days. However, the ModCP Deleted Content is not being deleted and is just piling up. Attached are two screen grabs that show my AdminCP settings and the current status of the ModCP showing dates. I tried adjusting the setting in AdminCP to a shorter time, but that did not kick-start any deletion. Is there a way to fix this without having to manually delete all the deleted content? Thanks.

Hello, Is there a way to skip this page or leave fields empty? Most of my users are looking for anonymity and asking them to provide those informations is kinda unsettling. We do not sell any physical merch, therefore there is no need for me to collect thoses infos. If that isn't possible to skip, I'll add this line : ''use a fake identity, we don't care''. I don't want to edit something that should not be edited, but so far no fixes in the custom files are working. The Location line on all members info display area on a post is missing the space between the "Location:" and the filled in place. Photo attached shows the issue. Is there a way to fix this, please? Hi, I've seen sites that have a landing page on their domain.com and forums on domain.com/forums. How do you achieve that with IPB? Do you just change the directory where files are installed? That would mess up everything and cause errors.

The default criteria when using the search bar in the nav is "Everywhere" - of which I would expect "Members" to be a subset. However I can only find members when I explicitly toggle the member search filter. Is there a way to make this work more intuitively by default? I've noticed that the same password you use on your account is used on adminCP which means someone can get full admin access to the site just by finding out your user password. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas for some extra good security measures when it comes to that (extra auth or something). thanks

I've been trying to read through previous posts and the Help Guides, but so far have not found an answer to this. Our forum has had signatures enabled for a long time, but we're considering removing them. When the whole Signature option is toggled to off/disabled, they are hidden -- but the information (text and/or images) in the signatures is not deleted. If the Signatures are again enabled, there is all the same text and image that was there before. Is there a way to delete all content in signatures when disabling them? Thanks!
