  1. Hello all, Something curious which is not immediately evident to me why this is the case. We have a few subscription packages to choose from, in the subscription settings we allow users to Upgrade or Downgrade their subscription package. As per the below screenshot. I thought everything was working fine, having not checked it (My bad)I had someone comment that when they visit the subscription page, there is no choice to upgrade nor downgrade. The below is an example of a our subscription page, on this page (Logged in as another user), I would expect to see the Upgrade/Downgrade buttons. What have I missed ? Thanks, P

  4. Hello all, We found the cause of the issue, it was one of the 3rd party plugins indeed. It was a "Back To Top" plugin that was causing a big headache. We also made some adjustments to mod_security and HTaccess. All seems well at the moment. I appreciate the help very much! All the best, P

  6. This is so strange. I have just tried on a completely different machine on a completely different internet connection, using Chrome Incognito/Firefox and still the same issues. I am not arguing, just that I cannot replicate the good state you are seeing. I have also had some colleagues in different geolocations try, they see the same issues. We will run through going back to IPS stock, and run through everything systematically to see if that solves anything.
  7. That is strange. I will try a different machine/Internet connection as even in Incognito mode, those errors persist. Will report back.
  8. Hello Jim, We tried this with having just a .htaccess file with the below, but we still see the issues we were having before. Any idea ?
  9. Thanks for clearing that up. Basically we recently migrated our forums from one server to another, essentially just moved from dedicated hosting to VPS hosting. However since doing so, we are experiencing some issues. We have tried the standard avenues of disabling all 3rd part plugins, clearing system caches and ensuring our CloudFlare service was disabled. However the issues persist, we even completely re-installed our VPS server to make sure that was not an issue. We are seeing lots of 404 related errors which we cannot resolve at a server level and believe there must be something wrong with the software, or we are simply missing something. For example. In AdminCP, If I run a search, say for a username the system stalls and generates the following errors: I can also just be browsing AdminCP and just get the following, where it cuts out completely: The 404 errors can also be replicated when on the "Marketplace" section of AdminCP. When searching for something I get the following: Furthermore, though less "breaking", is if I am on a page and I scroll up and down, I will continually generate the following errors: Ultimately, whatever is causing the 404 errors is the main concern as it is breaking backend and front end items. It would be great if we can have someone come in and have a look. I did fill out all the Access details in our client area for the server access as well as supplying an admin login for IPS.   10. Really ? I must have missed that memo. Hmmm. So what avenues are there if you are getting an issue you cannot explain. I have spoken with server admin etc and our only other avenue was to speak with IPS regarding the issue.

  14. Quick question regarding the IPS software. How do I dictate where the manual ad units show up? I looked in the block manager and did not see anything related to advertising, with respect to where I could insert an advert block on any given page ? Just struggling to understand how I place an ad block on the site and link it up with the manual ad unit html I get from Google. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

  16. Hello, I recently added some different subscription models to my site along with some existing subscription models. However I note that if a user is already subscribed to a product, they cannot subscribe to a second. Is there a way to allow users to subscribe to multiple packages ? Thanks, P

  19. Good shout. So I checked a page where I expect to see ads and inspected the source, I can see the HTML for the ads is inserted as per what is configured in ACP. So I can only guess (Once I rule out CloudFlare), that Google has not yet served an ad.
  20. I have re-checked, everything is fine. Google even authenticates the site correctly, so I do not think it is a script issue. I am checking to make sure as well that Cloudflare is not blocking anything of note.
  21. Hey all, So this is my first time setting up my IPS forum with Google Adsense. So far as I can see I have everything setup correctly. 1. Google Adsense has verified the site and is up and running. 2. So far as I can see, I have configured advertisements correctly in the IPS AdminCP. However wherever I have selected adverts to appear, they do not seem to be. Has anyone else run into these issues. Please see below screenshots of my current setup in the AdminCP (I have hidden my Adsense ID in the script) I also noticed in the Advertisements area, that Javascript has been disabled, as per the below screenshot example. Would this have an effect ? Any helps or advice is greatly appreciated. Many thanks, P
  22. I do have third party installations yes. I have not yet disabled them to see if that is the issue as they are part of the core experience, so disabling them for any period of time is something I have tried to avoid, but I will if needs must. No this would be in a discussions forum. Thanks!

I am just wondering if anyone else has had the issue whereby if you get a notification of a new post in a topic, that when you click on it, it does not always take you to that new post. I have had a few members note this issue and will usually have to scroll up or down to get to the right place. We of course have taken note of the notification settings as displayed below. Anyone else had any problems ? Thanks very much, P
  25. Just a quick question. Either YouTube has changed something or something on VideoBox has possibly changed. I noticed now that if you use a standard URL from the browser for a YouTube video and put it in the "External URL" field when submitting a video, it will submit, but the video does not work. You now have to specifically get the video URL. For instance, if I used this it will not work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5HvWN6d42g&ab_channel=IntelNewsroom However if I get the video URL (by right clicking on the video and selecting "Copy Video URL") it will work, such as this: https://youtu.be/G5HvWN6d42g We used to be able to just use the long browser URL. Did something change ? Thanks for creating and supporting this app!
