  1. How can I know (or efficiently search) which template it is? I've went through the ones I think are related and couldn't find anything. My first priority is to just remove the custom size so it's just controlled by the theme editing interface. Disclaimer: I know absolutely nothing about coding, html, css, and all those fancy computer words.
  2. I posted it but after seeing it didn't work I removed it. I've added it again now.
  3. Thanks for the help! Here is the link: https://carsforum.co.il/ Basically I'd like to change the fonts in the posts. all the other ones can be changed through the theme editor. I mean this text:
  4. OK, sounds great. I'll get it installed and cross my fingers.
  5. @Miss_B Looks great, Does it notify the admins when a duplicate account is registered? Or do they have to manually go into the list and search through the accounts? In other words - how do I, as an admin, get the information about the duplicate users?
  6. Nope. I don't currently have anyone that can write code so there's nothing I can really do regarding that.
  7. @CodingJungle Thanks for clarifying all that! I really did get a completely different impression from the reviews and the support topic. It's really great to see this wasn't written by someone who isn't active anymore or just does the bare minimum to keep the plugin alive and rake in all the monies. I'm very very glad you made it clear this isn't the case. That being said, I still think the app offers more than what I need (and frankly costs more than I can spend). If you could make a "lite", or "cheepo" version of it, that'd be brilliant.
  8. Last time I looked, It wasn't compatible with 4.5 (I see it's been updated now). also from I gather, the dev gives lackluster support, and the plugin give way too much usability compared to what I need.
  9. Ok, so I had a talk with support, and they confirmed it is actually intended. So there is no native way to allow members to edit their blog posts without allowing them full moderation rights for their blogs. Does anybody know about a plugin that could do something like that?
  10. Hey guys, Not sure if this is the right forum for this topic, but I don't see which one would be more appropriate. Since - for a reason that completely eludes me - IPS has no system implemented to easily deal with banned users opening a new user (there is one, but it has to be accessed manually via the user's page in the ACP), it looks like we need to make on. What we need is a "duplicate user" detector that will pop a notification / open a thread in a dedicated forum / send an email / any other method of notifying the site staff when a registered user registers a new alias. The plugin HAS TO take NO ACTIVE ACTION besides notifying the staff about the issue (since not all duplicate users will have actions taken against them). It CAN'T be IP based since those are always changing, it CAN be cookie based, but it would be even better if it's based on something that isn't as easily bypassed. Any ideas/offers? Thanks, and may your days be forever awesome.
  11. @Daniel F Looks like the carousel is now carouseling on mobile, but it's still acting weird when putting the block in the sidebar (not carouseling or not not returning to the first picture after showing them all)... Also, While we're on the subject, if you guys could enable re-sorting the pictures (like is possible with the links and captions) it would be perfect. Because right now if you want to make sort of a "news strip" - when you have a new story, you need to delete the last photo and upload one that will take up the No.1 spot, but currently the pic you upload automatically goes to the last spot and you can't move it - thus forcing you to delete all the pictures and re-upload them in the new order.
  12. Hey, I was Trying to change the main-post-text font size because some members who mostly use mobile complained it was to small. I changed ALL the fonts in the theme "Font-Changer-Thing" thingy but none of them seem to respond to the changes. I looked at the code-f12 thing in chrome and saw that the fonts for that text was still the "ipsType_Normal" and not one of the new font... um, names? Is that actually the case and the font sizes for the mobile design are unchangeable or am I missing something?
  13. As in this thread, I'm having trouble figuring out figuring out what's the color for unsolved reported items is called. Any and all help highly appreciated. got a screenshot. the area I'm referring to is marked with a red rectangle. Also, excuse the foreign language 🙂
  14. Anyone has an idea as to how to solve this issue? Or confirm it's a bug?
  15. Brilliant! works perfectly. Thank you so much, a million blessings upon your head 🙂
  16. Awesome, thanks. but be quick, I'm running out of nails to bite 😄
  17. Been really anxious to set this widget up for our community to have it cycle recent news from our magazine. So I set it up in a closed forum, and before setting it upon the homepage I decided to see how it looks on mobile. Welp... the carousel isn't carouseling 😄 desktop works fine, But when zooming in to force it to use the mobile interface, it breaks again and doesn't return to function when zooming out late. Got a screen rec to show the problem. *Also, how do I make mobile screen recordings NOT take up six miles of vertical space in forum messages? Desktop: Desktop.mp4 Mobile: Screen_Recording_20200914-145648_Chrome.mp4
  18. We're on the latest version (4.5.2), and unfortunately we do not want to allow user to delete or edit comments, Because disabling comments is kinda douchy. We don't support content on which the author might want to turn comments off since we still haven't reached a community size that will demand such an option (We're like a super-duper transparent and objective no-marketing no-bulfaeces kind of community).
  19. Just checked, blog posts are uneditable unfortunately. Also, this menu option in the acp supports this:
  20. Is there a way/plugin/voodoomagic to customize (or remove entirely) the edit time restriction on content per app? right now we have a 30min limit, but we want to allow for unlimited edit time for blogs or articles. How can one achieve such an ambitious goal?
  21. Thanks, But I'd rather have something that doesn't involve editing the code... Awesome. Will wait patiently.
