What do you mean by minimum criteria to get a star?

    Hello,

At some point, the topic gets a star. And some other topics always remain with circles, as in the picture I provided.

    Is it configurable?

I use the current ads system built in and add code. You can customise how the ads look via Google. You can obviously have them show for different groups. As for mobile integration again, on Google you can customise the size.

Are you using AdSense? is it integrated with Google Analytics? Adblock blocks it?

Can you please share with me a link to your community in private to see how it fits in?

  3. Hi,

I want to integrate Google Ads/AdSense into my forum.

Can someone share his experience if the integration is easy and how it impacts user experience? (especially in mobile)

Do the ads fit in the form messages flow, or are they stuck all over? Is there any way to control it?

    Thanks

  4. Hi
I want to limit registration to be only from several ISP official domain mail in my region.
In the registration form, the user can input and authenticate only the predefined mail domain.
    Can I do it?

  5. I don't know why it is not of the core feature of Invision, but when I, as admin, take care of a report and close it, i would expect that the user who opens the report will get a status notification back.
Is there something in the marketplace that handles the future?

  6. Mail doesn't come out at all. broken configuration.

My question is if this could make my forum choke and stuck a few times a day for a couple of minutes..

I have tried Gmail mail integration and they blocked me immediately because i am sending hundreds of emails in a day.

The sendgrid platform to hard to integrate, so i gave up in this point of time.

Correct. Once you take the backup, your community will need to be offline or you would not transfer any content/settings/changes made afterwards.

Well, its chalenging. What is the date Gap between shutting down my community and being online on the cloud with the original DNS?

Can you please elaborate more about the email service you provide?

Typically, you would just provide us a backup of your database and file set in a secure storage link we provide. Then we move it to our Cloud infrastructure. Very straightforward.

As far as cost, it would be best to talk with our Sales team for finalized information (I am not sales 🙂 ) but most cases, it is included. If you do not have communication open with them, please let me know and I can open one for you.

    Thank you.

Once i have delivered a copy of the database, does my forum need to be offline? as the database updates all the time

  9. So I have decided to move to the cloud,

Can you please elaborate a little more about the migration process after  I buy the plan?

Do you need FTP access or what more do you need from me along the way? Will you do all the migration for me? its included in the plan price or there is additional fees along the way? What are the risks?

Could you indicate the procedure steps?

If you are unsure on how server optimisation will help on the basis you have a lot of CPU and memory, that would most certainly emphasise why would need someone running your server. As while you can make a server perform better by increasing those if configuration is done correctly, you can actually make no difference at all by increasing these in any way if configuration is incorrect.

Just as a very very basic example. If your mysql is set to utilise 8gb of memory, you can add 500gb to your server, and it will make no difference unless you change the way mysql is configured accordingly.

In terms of cloud, we have US and EU based servers. We also have many customers using cloud in the middle east

IPB gives this kind of service of server optimization?

  11. I am still suffering from this periodic chockness of my forum.
I am considering moving to the IPB cloud to solve it, but it is not the best thing to do since IPB suggests an EU server while my region is in the Middle East.
I don't know how server optimization will help, have much CPU and memory, and since all the ACP support panels have no alert.

Relly doesn't know how to move on.

Upper right ACP corner AFTER login - there are options for that.

Its not the Acp login details, its the admin user login.

You can change that at the .htaccess file.

On the .htaccess file, there is no username or password parameters to change
