    You can certainly create a new record in your DNS to view your community on your server, if you wish. However, I strongly urge to not let your members/visitors/anyone know that it is there. As the community on our Cloud and the community on your server are completely separate at that point and will not talk to one another or update data between. I would advise making the community on your server completely inaccessible if you are just looking to retain a backup for a period of time.

    Can you please elaborate on this process?

    Today, I have a subdomain DNS forum.mydomain, resolving to my self-host server forum IP.

    When you create the new cloud server, the cloud server will be accessible via different IPs and DNS, right?

    How do i divert the traffic from my original DNS forum.mydomain to the new Ip server without impacting the forum?

    I want to maintain my on-serve as oldforum.mydomain for a month before killing him.

    Very disappointed.
    The marketplace allows me to search for apps and perches quickly. Get updates automatically, and be sure the process is safe.
    Now it's all gone. Jungle all over again?

    Quik Integration between developers--> IPB--> customers is vital, especially nowadays when for every second feature missing in the core platform, you need an app for this.

    Hi,
    Is there an app in the marketplace that allows me as admin to forward quick personal feedback on a topic to its opener?

    I don't want to write a response, open a personal message, or warn the user with 0 points just to contact the user quickly to leave a reminder.

     For example, I want to remind him that he forgot to mark the topic as a "win" mark in one click.

    I generally think it should be a default option in the warning system," leave a note" or something.

    The table is automatically pruned, you don't need to manually clear it.

    You should probably disable the 'MVN; (or similar name) plugin until it's fixed.

    Thanks. in the latest days, i took care of all the issues. It's old logs. i know it deletes automatically, but i can't wait six days; my forum is slow, i and i need to figure out why.


    I see now i have an error log of mail not sent secsefully; how can i remove them at the moment without waiting1 day? i have changed the configuration, not saving any more E mail logs because it could overload the DB. (Until the mail system will be fixed)

    Hi,

    My forum is functioning slowly; the only hint I have is the l support center dashboard that indicates a pumped-up folder log with a 139.03 MB log table.

    Most of the logs are irrelevant anymore and fixed.  Can it be the root cause? Maybe if I empty the folder, think will start moving faster.

    I am indeed struggling lately with a lot of server-side issues. And it is so frustrating. My community keeps growing, and it won't be better.

    1. In the Ipb plan specification, I didn't notice a few critical parameters, like
    Cpu, Ram, DB, and the estimated capacity of users needed, so how should I choose the best plan that suits my forum?
    Is it AWS? Azure? Should I care at all? Will I have any control/view over the server status?

    2. Can i maintain the exact DNS name i have today?

    3. Does the support is 24/7?  in any plan? Which scenarios will the support team cover, and which will not?

    Hello,
    I have been up self-hosted for a long time, and it is intensive for me to maintain the server and hire experts to solve the complex issue.
    For example- Now I am experiencing slowness in my Community (6 seconds entering a topic!), and I need to figure out why.

    I would like to understand if moving to the cloud, business, and tech-wise, would benefit me. What are the advantages and disadvantages, and how painful will the migration be?

    Upgraded all the tables to INNODB, the last software version, server PHP version 8.

    Entering posts is still slow. entering the post takes 6 seconds in average. It's a lot.

    I am locked out from the ACP, the board is up. but in maintenance mode
