  1. Yep. Hides the create button if you like. 4.2 compatible version today sometime.
  2. And KS works perfectly fine with IPS but when you install Tapatalk, which is not an application *for* the IPS suite, but an entirely separate application that is doing its own thing to harvest and use your IPS site information, TT doesn't work. It's not that surprising - TT is really, truly, off the rails of the IPS suite - which is fine, really, no law or rules say that it can't be - but there are consequences when that happens - namely there can/will be/are collisions between things that normally work. What I'm trying to say is that TT isn't an apples-to-apples comparison with the other apps/plugins here in the Marketplace and you shouldn't assume that it is the Marketplace app/plugin that is at "fault". There is *nothing* I am doing that is out of the ordinary; what TT does is very much out of the ordinary. Maybe when it creates it's own "dispatcher" it doesn't take into account other hooks being possibly there - I don't know, I'm just guessing - but this is the low level conflict stuff that can/will happen when you do what TT does. Like I said, perfectly willing to poke this once 4.2 is official and TT is updated to 4.2 compatibility. I'm genuinely curious but not enough to eat up my time when 4.2 is about to drop and TT is not compatible with it yet (as far as I know) BTW, TT isn't that TT plugin. All that plugin does is set up some settings and gives you the plugin form to enter/change those settings and that's pretty much it. TT is 95% or more the stuff in the folder you drag into your IPS directory - again, it's not an IPS app - its a very different thing.
  3. @Philip Carson I've taken a few minutes to look over things and I'm hard pressed to see exactly what KS is doing that would break Tapatalk; or rather, what Tapatalk is doing that breaks itself. This is going to be on the Tapatalk side of things wanting to do what it does. None of the theme hooks should have anything to do with Tapatalk throwing that unread error. I do see they reworked the get unread stuff to use the IPS search system earlier this year; maybe that's part of it? But again, I don't touch that with KS. The only system (not theme) hooks I have are on posts, topics (for allowing authors to edit first posts), one on dispatcher/standard to jack in some js files (should move that to front), and one on content/comment but that one is just to let you change the dateline on top of posts from "Posted December 12, 2016" to just the date alone. Tapatalk is a way funky thing, its like a totally separate application embedded within the IPS system (absolutely not an app developed for the IPS system like you could get and install from the Marketplace) - hell, they even have their own "dispatcher" stuck in their own namespace, but extending IPS\Dispatcher\Standard, and all it really contains are harvested functions taken from other IPS dispatcher files. I could probably help you once 4.2 is officially released and Tapatalk releases something compatible with that. I would give you versions of KS that have disabled/removed system hooks and see which of them is "interfering" with whatever Tap is doing - and then maybe I could adjust something or they could. I can't (won't...) help on this now as KS is already cooking on 4.2 and I'm not really set up to do much on the earlier versions at this point (that and way too busy to do so)
  4. @Chris027 Top means top! Not close to the top All better now.
  5. @Chris027 Its fine on 4.1.19.4 with KS 12, even moved edit bits around into and out of the the dropdown, hidden/not hidden. PM me ACP access and I can pop in and see if there is something else breaking stuff
  6. @Chris027 Still on 4.19.x whatever right?
  7. What version of KS? I'm trying to think what would actually break something like that on my end as KS is primarily a bunch of theme hooks and doesn;t hit the system stuff at all. There is one thing though which is why I need to know what version.
  8. No one has ever mentioned this. What exactly breaks?
  9. @Chris027 pretty much. 2: 99% of KS are things you enable, not on by default. About the only thing I can think of off hand that is always on is a tiny tweak to the calendar display when a user scrolls down to fix a spacing problem that has existed on calendar since 4.0 was released. 1: First post stuff works as you want it to. You can toggle this on or off in the acp and also chose whether this applies to all forums or just the ones you choose. I should probably get around to allowing you to select groups who have this ability as well. I'll throw that in the soon pile.
  10. I'll upload the final 4.1.x version of KS in a bit. It wraps up any lingering issues @superj707 mentioned above. As for 4.2... If it isn't mentioned below its working (or probably is). GLOBAL: - Remove trailing separator from breadcrumb not working. - Lightbox stuff will be completely removed. - Follow button stuff not working - will be removed, reworked. ERROR PAGE: - All not working. PROFILES: - All not working. USERBAR: - Everything under the Member Menu sub-section not working. That's user name and avatar, avatar only, name only, etc. That stuff. FORUMS AND TOPICS: - The stuff under topic view is mostly irrelevant now. They've made everything buttons now and, you might have missed this, they no longer wrap the forum posts themselves inside a box. The section title that once displayed the number of posts? That's gone now. That also means there is nowhere for me to stick in the "time elapsed since last post" bit. So, this will get removed and I'll see what I can salvage and stick in another place or some of this stuff will get re-purposed in another mod down the line. POSTS: - Good news! Edit first posts works fine. - Bad news. All of the post edit menu stuff (quote, multi quote, edit, etc.). All that custom formatting is broken. Might just be a simple targeting fix for the hook though. CALENDAR: - Squared edges badges not working. - Larger event cover photo area not working. - Larger event titles not working. If there is anything you see in the 4.2 preview/alpha/betas you would like tweaked and you think it might fit in with KS now is the time to ask. Otherwise I'll probably start working on the revamp with the release of the 4.1 betas.
  11. Well, loaded everything up on the 4.2 alpha. 1) Widgets: Nip/tuck of CSS to account for new Roboto default font but otherwise that's it. 2) Customize ACP Login Page: Non-functional. 3) New tasks, logs, cache wipe buttons on dashboard: Non-functional. 4) Spacious ACP theme: The hottest of messes. I'll be focusing on everything other than the theme. We'll see what I can do with that. Now... <shudder> ... on to Kitchen Sink...
  12. I just tested this here and its working fine. Just to be sure do you have this enabled and configured correctly? Outside of that I'd need to take a peek under the hood (this is Fk btw)
  13. Anyone around shoot me a PM to test the fix. I'd like to make sure before updating the Marketplace file. Also, this is @Flitterkill, I'm transitioning everything away from that gaming community account to an account dedicated to IPS work.
