  1. Alright, that thing has been done and submitted to AndyF for Marketplace approval. Gonna integrate it now with KS and then release. BTW, a quirk, but not a big deal, also not one I'll fix or anything as it isn't me but a function of the system. If you reverse the order of the forum posts so the newest appears first AND now make a search that hits on a post in that topic AND there are more than one page to that topic, it just might be the case where when you click the search result and expect to pop up right to that post that you'll just end up in the topic and your search hit post will be on another page. A small, small ,quirk but thought you should know.
  2. Imma doing another thing right now. Something that's been driving me nuts for a long time. So much so that I'm going to charge for this thing, but am including it for free in KS. So that's tonight (with bourbon in hand). So... tonight? Maybe? Soon regardless. Grasshopper, the winds are changing... A breeze has reached my ear indirectly and I (and others) have heard the words they carry. For you and all others soon the wind will blow openly, brazenly: strong and stout words cast across these digital lands. Beware the wind. Approve of your avatar btw.
  3. Finished. Will be included in next KS release whenever that happens.
  4. I think this is doable. All forums? Some forums. On a totally unrelated note, for those not paying attention, lots of of the regulars around here are doing a collaborative Black Friday thing. Might want to check out the Marketplace topic on that... On another note, the Marketplace is about to under go "change" in the near-ish future. Change is scary and so forth and so on. It will be entertaining for everyone involved.
  5. Spacious ACP 10 released! IMPROVED! Wipe Caches routine moar better. NEW! System Overview widget now detects/displays RedHat, Centos, and Debian builds and versions instead of generic Linux if your server allows access to etc directory. NEW! Database Overview Widget now displays database engine in use for core_search_index and current config for relevant engine variables. NEW! Change background color of message information and message warnings. IMPROVED! Refined login background image routine; no longer locked to your uploads directory. Misc. CSS changes, fixes, etc Marketplace description is funky; IPS Marketplace is dropping older screenshots and it's Sunday night and I've got other things to do than deal so expect a clean and sweep of the description in a few days - that means a notification for you if you are following it but nothing will have changed. Just FYI. Wipe Caches is better. For System Overview I'm just sweeping for the usual .release files in etc. If you have access and they are there, it'll get read, otherwise the usual. This is in the More Details popup. Database Overview is still rough. The utility of it is little at best. If you have other databases running on your server its all the same information pile. That includes slow queries too. So at best it is just a derpy thing to keep you in the know. Anyways, It will display whether your core_search_index table is MyISAM or InnoDB, give you the relevant minimum character length set for searching, and if InnoDB display your memory and buffer stuff. Useful if you are on a server where changes happen - you can catch a glance and see that something is up. The warning and bulletin banners now have adjustable backgrounds. I might have locked this down to the improved new version announcements toggle - if so I'll get this out in the wild for the next version. The login background image stuff is now "normal", not that you may have noticed before. BTW, this, and the favicon uploads, do not have formal file handlers. I'm just piggybacking on core_Theme. That means if you change the storage location for theme files in the Files section of the ACP these two Spacious image files will not be moved. The files will still work if the original storage location is still good to go but long story short, if the images stop working just upload new copies and it will be fine.
  6. @Bluto I've got this now. The KS settings form is looking for forums to select for the allow first posts to be edited setting and naturally not finding them. Patching that now. Think I have the breadcrumbs tightened up better now (just targets the first li element in the breadcrumb) Shoot me ACP access and we can test.
  7. I'll look and see if I can do it better.
  8. Not seeing any KS in those errors. Spacious though, but that's just a CSS file insert. As a general note hit the support tool (or Spacious Wipe Cache button) and see if it clears - those errors are on a form trying to pull in some Forums code, which as you say doesn't exist. If this is KS then that means I will annoyingly have to literally check for the existence of IPS Forums in the code before allowing those settings to be displayed at all. This will be the first recorded instance of this occurring btw, I doubt many people run IPS without Forums Let me know if it cclears up after the support/ tool / spacious cache wipe
  9. CURRENT KNOWN COMPATIBLE SERVICES Delimiter obj.space Digital Oceans Spaces IN-COMPATIBLE SERVICES If a service REQUIRES a signature for download URLs, even for public-read files, this plugin will not help you. The following services are known to require signatures for all download URLs. S3for.me
  10. Your service appears to *require* a signature for downloads, even if the file is public-read. If the attachment is an image it displays fine of course, and you can open the image in a new tab and download it directly like that, but if something is being downloaded via URL, it seems to want a signature no matter what. I guess I can get about the business of writing out a real S3 compatibility mod but it will be a paid app. For now I'll just keep a running list of compatible services on the Marketplace page and in this support topic. Thanks!
  11. I also just a moment ago set up an account there, and they give you $1 to start, so I can test both with my account and yours.
  12. This only works if your file doesn't require a signature to grab it. It's just a hack too get around the hard coded Amazon v4 signature automatically used by IPS. If you can spin me up a bucket with this service and pm me that, key, and secret I can test here locally. Also, what isn't downloading? Attachments? Downloads? Something else?
  13. Spacious ACP 9 released! NEW! Favicon support restored for ACP pages. NEW! Wipe Caches button now helps CIC users more by calling the CIC resync method afterwards. Misc whatever, etc... Favicon support is separate from your whatever themes favicons. You'll need to upload one (Spacious ACP settings, right at the top). I've included in the download, alongside the application file, the dark IPS logo converted to favicon format. All rights reserved IPS and so on and so forth; it's just a convenience - you'll probably want to use a color shifted version of whatever you use now (red is a good ACP favicon color...). Also, this is a LARGE favicon, appears about 1.4x the size of the IPS favicon you see in your browser tab when viewing this IPS site. For CIC users, hopefully the Wipe Caches button is a bit more useful as I now call the CIC resync method after the caches have been wiped. This has zero impact on non-CIC users btw, the method only runs for CIC users. That CIC caching is pretty hardcore and often times new apps and plugins (and the hooks and settings they bring with them) take more than a few minutes to actually start working on the front end. This, hopefully, helps, but then again... Also includes the usual tweaks and bits - you'll probably not even notice. BTW, a couple of versions back I noticed that tablet and mobile view had no easy way back to the dashboard "homepage" for the ACP. No IPS logo or anything. I stuck that back in and linked to the Dashboard. Someone a few weeks back mentioned this in the feedback forum as needed and that reminded me that I never mentioned that I already did this here...
  14. That's a standard theme option. Customization, then edit the default themes settings. If you have a custom theme you'll need to see if the theme author included that. I'll take a look at your other suggestion.
  15. No guarantee on time table but I can add that to the list. No reason why it wouldn't be doable though it might add some heft to the queries if that last post date isn't already present in the topic. I think it is though. I tend to avoid the new features IPS introduces as they are often a bit raw and undergo streamlining fairly quickly. You make a good point and you should say as much in the Feedback forum. They do read that and it's a good request.
  16. Non-Amazon S3 storage services do work with IPS 4.1x. Add your endpoint, key, secret, and sub-directory and custom url if needed, assign to some file category such as attachments or Gallery images and off you go! However, these Non-Amazon S3 services are NOT officially supported by IPS - that's because some of the internal methods have not been altered to handle them. These methods are hard-coded for Amazon S3 exclusively. If you are merely displaying images and the like on the front end, none of this is a problem. It becomes a problem if your end-users are going to download these files - that is when you hit the exclusively Amazon S3 code and the downloads will fail. For example, if you assign non-Amazon S3 storage to save IPS Downloads files, those files will not be downloadable. When the system attempts to make the download URL, it crafts that URL as if you were using Amazon S3, not some other S3-Compatible storage service. The two major areas that this will impact are IPS Downloads files and Attachments (this is what the file storage is called in the Files list in the ACP - it encompasses all attachments such as those you would have anywhere the full editor is used and there is an attachment dropzone.) This plugin intercepts the URL creation method called on Amazon S3 file storage objects, checks to see if it is an actual Amazon S3 request, and then just passes it on through as usual. If it is NOT an Amazon S3 request, it must be an S3 compatible method, in which case I provide a rudimentary URL to patch this up. It isn't anything fancy: just enough headers to push out the actual file name and trigger your browser to download it. If the attachment or file in question is an image your browser might just pop it up in a new tab, in which case just right click and download it there. This has been tested with the usual modern browsers (minus Safari), and various file-types. All testing was successful. BTW, as an aside, external FTP storage for files is NOT COMPATIBLE with IPS Community in the Cloud. Might want to note that... Free, support through the IPS Marketplace topic for now. Free also means lay off the instantaneous demands for support. I use this too so it's in my interest to keep this going. Support, and this plugin's existence, continues until IPS gets around to actually officially supporting Non-Amazon S3 storage. WARNING! The only item in the entire IPS Suite that marks files as private is IPS Downloads. This plugin will flag them as public. This means a few things: 1) If you are monetizing or otherwise require to fully control access to IPS Downloads files this is probably not the plugin for you. You will need to wait for complete 3rd Party S3 support, or at least specific mods to support obj.space, Digital Oceans Spaces, and so on. It really is just some hump work on getting the signatures correct (and it might be a V2 vs. V4 dance with varying providers as well - IPS just has a hard-coded-to-Amazon V4 method). Give it time, it will happen. 2) If you are using this plugin on an already existing bucket with Downloads files, those files will need to be flagged as public-read for them to download correctly. Again, this plugin is just getting rid of the signatures to allow public files to download correctly from 3rd-party S3 providers. 3) IPS Downloads users on IPS Community in the Cloud may need to wait forever and ever before the plugin will work correctly (forever and ever being defined as more than handful of minutes) as CIC caching takes some time to get things working. You *will* need to be infinitely patient. Like, install and then go drink something for awhile, read a book, etc. Then test. Don't yell at me saying this is broken., It isn't. Tested and verified on both own-hosting and CIC. Enjoy, good luck, etc...
  17. IPS Community in the Cloud. You're not, just checked. When you use the support tool and choose "something isn't working" it will wipe the system caches, templates, etc. Or you can get Spacious ACP which lets you add a Wipe Caches button to the ACP Dashboard to skip the Support Tool.
  18. You just needed to clear the caches. Fine now.
  19. That combo is saving just fine here. I'll see if the settings are still set correctly in a few hours I guess.
  20. What version are you running? KS and IPS.
  21. KS would not be doing that, it's just a plugin that uses settings. If that is going on there is something spectacularly broken on your site or IPS has one hell of a bug.
  22. It's 100% going to be IPSFocus. I've made no changes there in forever. Pencil is fine on 4.2.4 default theme, just confirmed. No reason for it to not work on 4.2.5 either. PM/respond with your site link and I can see what's changed and at least tell you why it's not working.
