Email failing after cloudflare switch
Gauravk replied to Gauravk's topic in Classic self-hosted technical help
So we temporarily shifted to PHP emails -
We have added cloudflare CDN before our server by changing the NS record at domainlevel and added same DNS record (NS1 and 2 along with all MX, A, CNAME, TXT) with cloudflare. Website is working fine, but emails are failing from IPS backend. Is there any new setting needed at the IPS backend too? Please help. When I try to resend a failed email, we get this error message.

Site under attack - Please help
Gauravk replied to Gauravk's topic in Classic self-hosted technical help
Thanks Marc, any help on how to identify the guest IP making checkout, so we can block at server level? Also I hope it's not IPS but that making 1 checkout re occur few times, as when I make a guest checkout with incognito mode, it made same subrictiption checkout few times after few minutes. Can you please confirm on this as well? Thanks in advance. -
Since the last 3 days, we have had tons of guest checkout resulting in 700+ abandoned carts. Anyway to stop that, please help.

Thanks Jim, I suspected the same as google cant index and de-index within 4 days of an update as such behavior take time. Just wanted to make sure that the insertion of GA script we have done is correct.
-
Recently we updated and been advised not to manually add GA and FB codes in globaltemplate, so we switched to insert codes thru admin panel and cleaned globaltemplate almost free of code edits. Today I received this error from Google search console. Can someone please inspect, if our site Google Analytics codes are inserted correctly? Thanks in advance.

System logs - uncaught exception - please help
Gauravk replied to Gauravk's topic in Technical Problems
Thanks Jim, will do that. Anyway to identify which app or plugin using that, so I can speak to the respective dev? -
Can support please check the system logs and advise what is causing these continuous errors after the upgrade?

Back to 1990's So if you yourself isnt running stock, plain vanilla installation, then please stop blaming your users and making us feel super guilty at every inch of the way, as we have committed the biggest sin by installing 3rd party app or plugin. @Adriano Faria please advise how we can update your old plugin? I cant find that in my purchase (it might be free) and I can't find that on your site. Please help.

Calendar not working after upgrade
Gauravk replied to Gauravk's topic in Classic self-hosted technical help
By offering helpful, problem-solving, customer focus - support (standard or paid) to identify such gaps and advise us on how to fill them ASAP. You guys are the creator of these codes, modules, software, would spot a difference and root cause in a few seconds, while we blindfolded in the jungle keep ranting that IPS broke my site, 3rd party broke my site. Win-win situation come when you extend a helping hand and earn appreciation with money and respect. Honestly speaking, this time support was FAAAAR BETTER than in the past. -
Calendar not working after upgrade
Gauravk replied to Gauravk's topic in Classic self-hosted technical help
Hi Jim, if you call adding google analytics and FB pixel, footer links code a numerous mods then yes you are right. But to the best of our knowledge we have switched to stock, plain vanilla IPS theme with custom colors of our brand for the last 5 years, as on every upgrade we have the same issue, over and over again without fail. Due to such a sensitive upgrade process, we do upgrade IPS once in 2 years now, to save all these hassles and back and forth. Hope someone reading this higher up at IPS Ivory Tower, can offer a sane solution to customer's common pain points and save embarrassment for their hard-earned business site to go into limp mode soon after the upgrade. __________________________ For now, I would really appreciate it if you or someone can point out what exactly causing this sidebar issue would be really helpful. I have copy of all these three files showing modified out of several thousands, before the upgrade. -
Calendar not working after upgrade
Gauravk replied to Gauravk's topic in Classic self-hosted technical help
Many thanks Randy, it was in cPanel and not in WHM. Fixed it. New entry However, I still can't find a way to fix the sidebar topic. We are running a stock theme without any mods and never faced this issue before this upgrade. Appreciate it if someone could point me in some meaningful direction, please. https://carnity.com/forums/topic/18797-2-days-all-level-overlanding-drive-7-emirates-2-and-3-dec-2023/ -
Calendar not working after upgrade
Gauravk replied to Gauravk's topic in Classic self-hosted technical help
Thanks Randy, for pointing me in some direction. I still cannot see any cron job in my WHM setting if you mean that: My IPS Advanced config shows this, any help where do I setup cron at the server level or at IPS level? -
