    Ok, I've sorted the navbar! Still got the issue of the sub menus being displayed like they are though so would still like to hide them if possible. I did have css code that was for this in my custom css before updating the forum to last one but guess this doesn't work with this version? Code is have is this .cForumRow .ipsGrid h4, .cForumRow .ipsGrid .ipsList_inline { display: none; } Will this work with version 4.5.3?

    Hi guys, Have just updated to 4.5.3 and noticed that even using default theme, the navbar shows all the sublinks in the line below. It didn't do this before, and doesn't appear to in this invision community forum either? Is there an issue with my forums template? Is the same whether in grid view or normal. Also noticed that the forums display the subforums too, which makes it look very messy. Anyway to fix these two issues? Thanks Dave

    LOL After last post I decided to update to 4.5.3. Have got those icons and logos oprions in same place as yours now so least thats one thing sorted! Having to redo my theme just now as it's not compatible with the latest version............these things are never easy eh!

    Thats really weird!! I found the bit for default image (it is in the themes bit, but only visible if you click on a theme and then click the edit button (see below) Also, here's my "Follow" button...........no promote button next to it? Really is strange considering we're both using the same version of the board. Wonder if its an issue with the them I'm using (although acp is using default theme)?

    Have just set this up, so waiting to see if it works! Thank you What version of IPB are you using as I don't have anything next to the Follow button? I also don't have the option Customization > Appearance > Icons and Logos so not able to upload any default image? Sure I've seen the default image bit your mention in the acp before but its not under the above path

    Thanks for the quick reply @Runar. Having a look at promotion just now, although it looks like we can only promote posts? Also noticed that when sharing a post, it generates a blank image on fb......not sure if there is a way round this either?

    Have searched through the forum and can only find one topic that kinda has what I'm looking to do. We have a Facebook group to compliment our forum. What I'd like to do is find out if there is a way to have a feed (say from forum members cars) that posts any new topics or new posts on current topics/threads straight to our Facebook page. I've seen IFTT and Zapier mentioned but have no idea how to set these up. Is there a simple way to have new forum posts going to our fb group automatically from the forum? Any help greatly appreciated thanks. Forum version is 4.5.3 (yes I know, i need to update!) Thank you in advance Dave

    I am all for progress in web design, but am sick of everything having to conform to what Google wants. As a company, I do not like Google or the way it works so I for one am pleased this hasn't been added in to IPS software. Who decided Google was boss?

    Thanks for the quick reply mate. Update: just checked using the ips default theme and the it displays like this below:

    Hi @opentype I've noticed that on the hero image, the colour of the text used for the title of the article is black. Unfortunately, on most of my images used for hero images, this is too dark so the text can't be seen. I've attached to screenshots. Capture 1 shows it how it looks Capture two shows I've highlighted the text so you can see the text that's hidden because of the colour. Is there a simple way to change the text colour so it's visible on almost most images? Had a look through settings but couldn't see anything for this so assume I#ll need to add code to custom css? If so, do you have code for that please? Thanks!

    Just noticed, on tablet size screens, the logo bg changes again back to same color as the nav bar. Is there another bit of code I could add to the ta.logo so it stays that color on screen sizes up to say 800px?

    Hi Taman Is there a way to disable the sliders if viewing from a mobile? Had a look but can't see a setting for it as the images tend to be too big to display them on mobile devices properly ( see my site for an example of what I mean http://www.futureclassiccars.uk/ ) Be good if sliders can be set to not show on mobiles. Maybe a bit of code is available if there isn't a setting already there for this? Also on mobiles, how do i change the colour of the logo background area (header). See attached screenshot, area circled in green. Dave

    Just purchased and installed! Have to say, this has got to be the best theme out there! Sooooo customizable, and so easy to do. Love the thought you've put into it mate, such as the "body" section where you include links to sites for gradient backgrounds, so you can just create your own unique gradient to match your club/company theme then simply past the code in from it. Genius! Had a play with quite a few settings, not been round them all yet but really love this theme. Best $30 spent, worth every bit and more! Thanks again mate!

    Really like the look and customizability of this theme mate! I have a few questions before purchase if that's ok? Is this theme compatible with IPB 4.2 and future versions? Will it work with the plugin "Advanced Multi-tool"? Will it work with the plugin "SuperGrid" I'm currently testing out my new site on the test forum of my current IP 4.X forum. If I install the theme on the test forum, when I finally purchase and install my new IP board on the new sites url (which is a completely different site/url) will I need to purchase the theme again to install on that site? Can I have my own logo or is it set to just be text for the logo? Just want to make sure everything will fit in with my new site when I get it built. Thanks and sorry for all the questions!

    Just for info really incase anyone else has the issue of block not updating to the latest article. I hadn't activated the caching module (theres a list of the ones that can be used in acp/system settings/advanced) so activated that, changed the data storage to MySQL database then uploaded a new constants file via ftp (which is automatically generated for you in the acp) and the block is working perfectly now. I set the caching to 30 secs which seems to update it quick enough. So I deffo recommend Supergrid. It's the most perfect plugin for displaying your articles.

    Which setting is it in the plugin so I can check, as I think I have them all set correctly? Might have to raise a support ticket for the problem with blocks displaying the latest updated record then. Really scratching my head on this one as it just doesn't seem to pull them. I added code to the page yesterday (which is now removed) and could get a block to appear in the footer with the latest updated article showing (from the category we're trying to pull latest updates from) and it worked fine. Only problem was the position of it and the formatting, although looking at the missing title problem with the blocks that may now point to an issue with pages app itself. I'll raise a ticket and see how it goes, thanks again for your help.
