I don't want to derail the topic, but I am very much interested in the new system since you posted that screenshot earlier ? Will it be just for the trophies app or it will be more flexible and can work with other core and 3rd party apps?

Earlier I had suggested the idea to implement Emojis as trophies/medals. Is this something that might take a lot of time and effort? Sorry, don't want to be one of those nagging guys, but I am about to create probably 60-70 trophies using emoji icons that I am going to award to 200-300 members and I'd rather use the built-in then resizing PNGs ? If you plan this feature soon I'll wait, if not, I'll start processing the image files today ? Also, any possibility to expand the automation rules integration? At the very least the following is necessary I believe: Event: trophy/medal is awarded, trophy/medal is deleted Condition: has a trophy/medal?, does not have a trophy/medal?

Also is it possible to display just the members profile picture like in my screenshot above? Or they are always shown with names and groups? Edit - I did it with css. Still, a bit disappointing that we lost quite a few settings.

With the plugin it used to be like that: Now with the app it is: 2. Is it possible to use two block one above the other? In the plugin I could add About us and Members below each other: Now it looks like there could be only a single block in a column per row...

Hi @TAMAN, Sorry that I am not following this topic in details. Can you advise the best way to upgrade now that this is an app, but with preserving the previous settings? Do I need to delete the old plugin and create all blocks from scratch?

Your best bet is to try it and see if it works ans report here. Thats my plan at least. The app has been poorly supported for a while, which is a shame as it is one of the more expensive ones on the marketplace. At least there are no renewal fees.

Can you please include topic list in the Demo? Also, is the size of the latest albums changed via setting or how it is decided that the left one has a big image and the right one small?

This is not true for the social promotion option: Not saying this to annoy you, but maybe you can see how IPS does it there and implement it if it is not hard.

Can the admins still see the anon users?

It might have been discussed before, but will it be possible to integrate the awarding with the group promotion feature by IPS? I.e., instead of changing groups to award trophy instead? Or, if it is easier, the promotion conditions could be duplicated, I am mainly interested in the "Members last visited" criteria. Related to this, what happens if a user is awarded a trophy, but at some point he stops satisfying the conditions. Is the trophy removed in this case or it is permanent?

Hi @newbie LAC, I will move my question here: Mainly if there are possible compatibility issues as it seems both his and your apps hook in to the same area. For example I want to use the prefix functionality from his app and the tagging from yours. Also, what happens if the app is disabled, will the tags remain?

@The Old Man, thank you for the very informative links about the gamification. Pretty interesting stuff. I think a well build dedicated gamification app can sell very well on the marketplace, right now we are gathering the pieces together from 4-5 different apps that are mostly limited or do not always talk well to each other if at all. Anyway, thank you again for the links.

Suggestion, would ti be hard to make this per user, rather then per group setting? Some of my users abuse reactions, for example they use "Funny" in a sarcastic way. I want to disable this reaction to them, something like "Ban from using reaction". But creating additional user groups only for this capability is not very practical.

Do you have any plans to integrate Font Awesome 5.0 with the suite?

@Kevin Carwile, I actually also tried to setup this and when you add the action to update the custom field, the only option for the source is PHP: I suppose if $content is returned here it should be fine, but I don't know.

Disabling the plugin seems to resolve the issue, but still it would be great if this conflict can be solved so we can use both apps.

When I said that your answer is good enough, I meant that clearly you don't understand the question, which means that probably understanding and providing Rules support is very low on your priorities list = good enough answer for me. Even though it is still on the app description, so it should be something that is supported. Anyway, when an app adds supports for Rules, it creates its own Events, Conditions and Actions. There is no such thing as "All Events, Conditions and Actions of the Rules app". It is something the other dev (i.e., you) needs to add. (Sometimes Rules are able to pick up some events, conditions and actions from 3rd party app, but this is an exception). Some basic examples: - You add an event for "A member is awarded". Then I can add a condition to check if a member is in group "Advanced members" and an Action "Post a topic with congratulations". In this case the event is based on iawards, the conditions and action are supported by the core integration of Rules. - You add a condition "Member has award", which returns true or false. Then I can use again the core event "Member has posted a topic" and action "Pin a topic". Thus, if a member has certain award all topics he posts will be pinned. - You add an action "Award a member". Then I can use core event "Member has validated" and add your action to give award to each validated member. The Rules app can't create an event for "A member is awarded", condition for "Member has an award" and action for "Award a member", this is something that should be provided by you. I hope my question is more clear now, I was asking what event, conditions and actions this app provides.

No it is not a Rules question, it is about which events, conditions and actions iAwards supports. The developer of Rules can't know that and I can't know that before purchasing iAwards. But thank you, I guess this answer is more then enough for now.

@Fosters, can you please confirm that the Rules integration consists of of awarding medals action, no events, no conditions. This is important for me and I have to know if it is a bug or everything is fine.

It will most definitely help. Also is it possible to expand integration with Rules? - Event when medal is given - Condition if member has a medal - Action not only to give, but to remove medal - etc.
