  1. I wouldn’t know how the IPS cache should influence file links. Try to make it replicable. If you see it, narrow down what the cause is. Use different browsers to rule out browser caching issues. Is there network caching (Cloudflare, internet provider et cetera)? Can you turn it off or use a different network? Is lazy loading turned on? Could it be an issue with that? A screenshot alone doesn’t indicate a specific problem.

  3. When a Pages database contains a multi-upload image field, nothing can be uploaded in Safari 15.2. After selecting an image, the page just stalls or freezes entirely. I can replicate this on all my installations, including my cloud account. This is on the latest release and with a clean theme, no plugins and it also happens when the record is created in the ACP. No problems in Firefox and Chrome. [Edit: Safari version updated]

  5. Yes, it is possible. For Stripe and credit cards, the user gets a checkbox to store the card authorization. For PayPal, there are the so-called Billing Agreements and when you set up the payment method, you choose if that is turned on, off or optional.

    You can’t. Invision Community doesn’t have that option.

  10. But what would the “fix” be? It’s intentional the way it is. Not every image in a post is suitable to represent the entire topic. If you want to assign the first attachment in a post, there is a marketplace file for it.
  11. Yes, that is the “Default Sharer Image” set in the ACP under “Icons and Logos”. If that image is present, it will be used for all forum posts.
  12. A link would help to see it. Wild guess: You use Google Adsense and they started an experiment on your site. In this case, you would turn it off in the Adsense settings.

  20. Yeah, it’s just text, but text can be styled. So that’s probably what is happening. Impossible to tell from a screenshot though.

  23. Sorry, the plugin only affects the regular forums, not the Q&A type. I just clarified that in the product description. It hasn’t come up before. If you can’t use it because of that, I can ask IPS to issue a refund.
  24. It’s certainly unrelated to SuperDirectory, as that just changes the design, not the core functionality of Pages databases. My suggestion would be to check the database permission and save it again (even if there were no changes made). I mean the permission table, not the just the settings in the database settings.
  25. I’ve seen that on client websites before, where the icon was set as a language string and someone translated it, so the English icon name couldn’t be found anymore. Do you have other languages installed?
